Stolid, unimaginative Police Inspector Sugg is convinced the body is that of Sir Reuben Levy, a famous Jewish financier who disappeared the night before - waving aside objections that, as the body in the tub was uncircumcised, it couldn't be Sir Reuben - and promptly arrests Thipps and his maid for murder.

"The Learned Adventure Of The Dragon's Head" is a short story from Dorothy Sayers' book, Lord Peter Views the Body. Lord Peter Wimsey, Dorothy Sayers's eccentric amateur sleuth, is saddled with his ten-year-old nephew while his parents are away overseas. As the two browse an antiquarian bookshop, the boy is attracted to the maps and pictures in a badly damaged copy of Cosmographia Universalis, an early description of the world. He buys the book, and shortly afterwards a strange man visits and offers Wimsey two hundred times what the boy paid.

The Fascinating Problem Of Uncle Meleager's Will is a short story from Dorothy Sayers' book, Lord Peter Views the Body. This is apparently the first Lord Peter story; it was originally published in Pearson's Magazine (July 1925). When old Meleager Finch dies, he leaves two wills: the first grants his fortune to the conservative Primrose League, while the second leaves everything to his niece, Hannah, a young, serious socialist.
