About this listen

Enter the brutal and elite world of a war college for dragon riders from New York Times bestselling author Rebecca Yarros

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders.

But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success. The rest would kill her just for being her mother’s daughter—like Xaden Riorson, the most powerful and ruthless wingleader in the Riders Quadrant.

She’ll need every edge her wits can give her just to see the next sunrise.

Yet, with every day that passes, the war outside grows more deadly, the kingdom's protective wards are failing, and the death toll continues to rise. Even worse, Violet begins to suspect leadership is hiding a terrible secret.

Friends, enemies, lovers. Everyone at Basgiath War College has an agenda—because once you enter, there are only two ways out: graduate or die.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

The Balance - Fantasy and Lust

This is a great book, that takes place in a creative fantasy setting. The complications of personal growth and political influence add intrigue and complexity to the character development. I enjoyed the discovery of this interesting world of dragons and magic through the protagonist. However, the fantastic story development was somewhat broken by unnecessarily frequent and a little too detailed sexual interludes. For me less is more. Your imagination can fill in the details without the harlequin novel feel. Despite this small critique, I was throughly captivated by the story. I loved the narration and well placed sound effects. I cannot wait for the next dramatization of this series.

Spectacular narration!’n

I started listening to the original audiobook version of Fourth Wing and I couldn’t get past the narrators voice. This is so much better and I absolutely recommend it.

Adaptions make this a whole new book!

This is just a new story! I don't know how the written word makes it; but the additional actors plus music makes this a whole new book

Great performance

I love this book! Can’t wait for part 2. I wish they would have kept Ted Hamilton as xaden though.

Great narration

Great novel and fantastic narration. The additional music etc isn’t distracting and does add to the imagery. Would recommend as a young adult novel.

Shadow Daddy, Yes!

The combination of Fourth Wing, a five star story, and Graphic Audio is phenomenal! The voice of Tarin is out of this world. A 10/10 recommend!
