LOVE Brynne Weaver

Love the books, can't get enough of these characters. The narrators are just awful. I didn't like them from Leather and Lark either and hoped there would be new narrators for Rose and Fionn. I'm not even a third of the way through it and it's just awful. Rose's east coast accent catches on all the words and is too fake. Fionn is better but there are so many over-dubs or obvious stopping and restarting points that are jarring. Audiobooks are not my jam because I'm very picky but I couldn't wait for S&S. I'll probably avoid this female narrators again if possible.

Fionn is my favorite Kane brother. 10/10

Superb way to wrap up the trilogy. The ONLY negative is I have no idea what to do with my time now. My FAVORITE series.
Rose is a badass. Fionn is everything. Ugh.

The mayhem that is Rose with all her wild spirit and just all-around badass attitude. The masks that she places just to keep going. I knew Rose was a definite favorite character in B&B but finally getting her story! Truly wonderful!
Fionn; let me just say it again I loved Rowan and Lachlan but Fionn is DROLLING!!!🤤 in the beginning from their interaction; I knew he loved her. The feelings!! His discovery to love who he truly is because of Rose.
The bickering!!! The crotching! BARBARA THE RACOON ( Trash PANDA). The glimpses of B&B and L&L through their POVs. I am obsessed with this trilogy! The tears that weld in my eyes when they were so close to happily ever after only to have it ripped away from them. The letters sent to the Sparrow! The healing that was needed! The chosen and found family within all of them!! Beautiful way to wrap it up! United family 🖤
The epilogue! Brynne Weaver you truly knew how to break our hearts and stitch them back up!!

Let the show begin

I won’t lie, I was worried that I wouldn’t like these characters. I hesitated a bit on starting the third book (but only by like hours). After all how much serial killers can one family really have…I was SO happy to be wrong. I LOVE these characters. I love their mayhem. I loved that they found themselves and each other.

As for the performance. These narrators blew it out of the park - AGAIN! SO 🥵🫠

I’m so sad to have finished these stories! What a ride!! Samantha and Eric’s performances were so exceptional and I am so glad I listened to this story as opposed to site reading. (Definitely my preference for the whole series!) The audio version really elevated the story to another level and I highly recommended this experience. Kudos to the narrators for such great storytelling.

I have thoroughly enjoyed S&S and am not surprised to see how much I fell for our good Dr Kane. What a beautiful and slightly troubled sweetheart! Rose is equally precious and hilarious, almost innocent in her darkness. They had both convinced themselves that their lack of companionship and friendships was the safer way to live out their lives. Enter mayhem, which turns it all upside down.

I loved the overlap in the timelines of this book with B&B and L&L. It was so fun to see the other sides of the story! Truly enjoyable even though this is considered a dark romance. Totally my jam! Plenty of “ew gross!” moments but lots of love, tenderness and laughter, too.

I wish I could go back and listen to them all again for the first time!!

B&B, L&L and now S&S are my 3 top favorite books. I was skeptical in the beginning but was a for sure a good choice. If you want a little thriller with equal spice these reads are for you!! You won’t be disappointed.

Freaking love the narrators! I swear yall toy with my damn heart and emotions! It’s so good! I love the characters, voices, the complex and continuation of the story that is intertwined with the trilogy

Absolutely loved it but not as much as the others

I’m not really sure why I feel like this, I think it might just have been because I was so used to the other ones and read them all back to back so coming back to this series after a break was a weird jump back in but over all, a great great read and definitely have the same vibes as the others I also really loved being able to see a situation that happened in past books but from a different point of view so it all really went full circle! I really want the series to continue even if it is just seeing their married lives or have another issue come up where they have to save one of them but who knows, this is the only series that I have read in my adult age that I actually really fell in love with!
