The conflict between Citaria and Mehr’Durillia has begun. Gone are the days of subtlety and subterfuge, giving way to the rising tide of war. Kari and her allies have seen numerous miracles in recent months, from the glorious rebirth of a friend to the unprecedented alliance of many peoples from across Terrassia and beyond. Now, all the pieces are in place, the military campaign known as The Phoenix Ascension ready to be put into motion. All hope - not just on Terrassia or even Citaria as a whole, but on her sister worlds of Irrathmor and Mehr'Durillia as well - now rests on the execution of this plan. Failure will mean the end of the last chance of liberating Mehr'Durillia and the deaths of the final defenders of Citaria.

With her brother-in-law imprisoned behind enemy lines, Kari must mount a daring rescue to rival her previous forays to Mehr'Durillia. The problem is, the battles she's fought in recent weeks have left her in no condition to go anywhere....

The dead are rising from their graves. Somewhere beneath the land of Terrassia, something stirs from its ages-old slumber. Leighandra Evenstar planned to attend the resulting summit of nations simply to chronicle the problem and the suggested solutions. Partnered with allies who would've been her enemies in her past life, she must adapt to this new world and lead these young heroes to fulfill their potential - to stop a civil war being stoked by demonic influences. If they fail, Citaria may fall to a war that dwarfs the Apocalypse.

The war for Mehr’Durillia has begun. With the Council of Anthraxis shattered, only four kings remain to counter the collective armies of Mehr’Durillia’s six sister worlds. But three of these are by far the worst of the lot: the eldest, most destructive kings, the very architects of the destruction of a deity and the enslavement of multiple worlds. There is little doubt that they will fight to the bitter end and cast every life they can into the maw of war before they admit defeat.

All is not lost, however, for the keys to the ancient Temple of Archons have been gathered and Salvation's Dawn stands at the fore. At last, the Temple will be opened, the intentions of the gods made clear. The hope of all mankind rests upon this event, and the forces of Light stand to open the Temple before the demon kings become aware.
