Ozma of Oz is the third oz book. When a storm blows Dorothy to the land of Ev, where lunches grow on trees, she meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and Princess Ozma, and together they set out to free the Queen of Ev and her 10 children. The story features a wicked nome king who has enchanted the queen and her children.

The entire tale of Dorothy's original adventure in Oz is playfully narrated, making it accessible to even the youngest Oz fan.

Tip, a young Gillikin boy, runs away from his cruel guardian, the wicked witch Mombi. When a storm blows Dorothy overboard on an ocean voyage to Australia, she washes ashore in the Land of Ev, which has been taken over by the evil Nome King. If she and her companions (Billina the Talking Hen, Princess Ozma of Oz, and Tik-Tok the Mechanical Man) can't find a way to defeat the Nome King's powerful magic, they'll all be turned into ornaments for his collection!

"The Patchwork Girl of Oz" is a children's novel by L. Frank Baum, the 7th set in the "Land of Oz". Like most of the Oz books, the plot features a journey through some of the remoter regions of Oz; though in this case the pattern is doubled: Dorothy and Ozma travel to stop a war between the Flatheads and Skeezers; then Glinda and a cohort of Dorothy's friends set out to try to rescue them... Wonderful, eccentric, moving and funny as always!
