The potential is there…
I feel like nothing is progressing in the world. Story lines are staggering, after this dungeon, the characters would have progressed 50+ years with the rest of the characters falling behind. All this book does it make me want to read the next book to find out what happens to scratch an itch. Not really invested in the outcome.

Best story on Audible!
Primal Hunter is the best story on audible and this installment is no different. There's stories that drag-on for chapters but with overall good parts, but Primal Hunter keeps it interesting throughout. The author really knows dialog and how to write action sequences. He is very imaginative too. The characters are likeable and relatable. If I had any complaint it is that I want more.

so much fun
such a great sense of humor and I enjoyed the simplicity of being back with just Jake. I enjoy the other characters but it's nice to see an arc curve back around to a solo character focus for a bit. the interactions and conversations had so much humanity in them that I found myself laughing and cheering and even feeling sorry for the main character. Will listen again

Great stuff but starting to drag
This dungeon is just starting to drag , I don’t see why all 4 challenge dungeons couldn’t be put in this book. There was definitely better characters and it was a richer experience than the last book but it’s just taking a while especially with all the hints that Jake is going to min max all the rewards. Not a bad book tho, I love the series.
