Very easy to follow, no nonsense guidance

Inspirational

Start Today

I fell in love with DYFM podcast. I binged it while I was separated from my exe wife at the time, needing a change, and at the point of finally realizing my self worth. DYFM changed my life, made me believe in myself and my goals that I have since reached and continue to set for myself. I needed the motivation to believe that I could change and feel better about myself. This book is a great guide to start rewiring your brain to think, "record, rationalize, and replace" the thoughts and emotions that negatively affect your motivation and self worth. I have come a long way and journaling has been so helpful I recommend you commit to the ideas and concepts in this book and see how much of a difference it makes. I can attest that I feel more grounded and in control of what I am able to control and I'm living my life in the moment and listening to my body's needs. I feel fantastic and I see the change from the person I was before and I'm not going back to that person who didn't realize my worth. Thanks for all you do Alexis!!!

Second time listening!!

This book has brought me so much peace with the intricate explanations of chemicals that go through my body that I listened a second time and will continue to have it in replay until I can fully incorporate all techniques that she gives. I am so grateful for this book.

Wonderful reading voice! So knowledgeable.

Alexis is incredibly knowledgeable and relatable. She does a fantastic job of taking concepts that could be hard to grasp and making them down to earth and applicable! Loved it!

Worth a listen and another

I love Alexis and her podcast. I also love hearing about how the brain works so listening to this book was a no brainer (pun intended). It took me a minute to get used to her reading style. I enjoy her as a personality a lot more. But I’m in a rough part of my life where I needed to hear a lot of things that she had to say. Understanding how the brain responds to things and the cortisol levels and stress was HUGE. working on creating healthy habits and being mindful of your brain already creating shortcuts that may not be great for you, ALSO HUGE. I took a lot away from this and will definitely listen to it again.
