The Healing Bible !

Wow, everyone should have a copy of this book! We all need to reparent ourselves on some level and this book gives you the tools step-by-step.

Not as informative as I’d have hoped

While I appreciate Dr. LaPerla’s commitment to healing mind and body, this is all information better suited to “beginners” on their journey of self-discovery. I’ve gone through DBT classes and have been in therapy a long time and I have worked out what my core wounds are and who my inner child is. I’ve also named my ego (which coincidentally, is also my borderline personality disorder). His name is Kevin in case you were curious.
I do recommend this book if you are unsure of “how to do the work” of finding and reparenting yourself.

Incredible

I’ll read it however many times I need to in order to continue to do the work. This book is everything I needed to hear at a time I needed to hear it. Thank you Nicole.

Absolutely the best book on phycology I've read!

will definitely read again and quiet possibly buy physical copies of books of hers. Suggested to me by my therapist. I've read ALOT of books on phycology and none so far compared to this. I believe everyone could benefit from this read, but I will warn that there is ALOT to this book so have a pen and paper nearby. Beautifully told.

Total Life Changer

I wish I had these tools when I was young. This book has changed my life in ways I never dreamed. It has changed my husband in ways I never could have imagined. I am so thankful to Dr. Nicole for the beauty I have found in my life and will continue to purse. I have always felt I was broken and unfixable after childhood abuse - sexual, physical and mental. I am pretty sure I lived outside of my body for 55 years. It feels so awesome to feel so grounded. It is incredibly freeing to understand what is going on inside your brain and that your brain wants to keep doing the same things that kept you alive as a child....now all they do is damage your relationships. Not enough words for this review! I am also thankful for the SelfHealer podcast on Google Podscast, Spotify and Youtube. They are also incredible. Thankful for the SelfHealers group that I am now a part of. Just thank you!!!
