10/10!!

LOVED this book so much I listened to it again immediately after I finished it the first time. Some of the names are pronounced incorrectly (according to the author) but I kind of prefer it and it’s not a big deal. I love the way Lilly reads for these characters and I think her emphasis on words and phrases conveys Isolde’s and Adrian’s emotions SO well. Can’t wait for the sequel! I also loved the bonus chapter in Adrian’s POV!

Surprised how much I liked it!

I love books with this kind of Love Story. Reminded me of Blood and Ash. I wasn’t ready for the twist! I hope there is a book 2!

Similar but Different and Good

I know. I know. Everyone will say that this story is extremely similar to two other books where the main female character is immature, full of angst, anger, and always seems to get a little STABBY! However, the story is still good, and the narrator did an amazing job!! Definitely looking forward to book number two “Queen of Myth & Monsters” and the continuation of Adrien and Isolde’s love story.

Adrian and Isolde

I love this book. The narrator was really good. it is technically from Isolde’s pov. Adrian has a chapter at the very end. The world building could have been better there were some parts that I was confused about but otherwise I really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

Dark fantasy so juicy …

Addictive, dark desire, politics, war, star cross lovers… tragedy… what’s not to like! The sound of the guy actor is abit off I think. But mostly we stay with pov of the woman’s character which was great.

Flew through this one!

Loved the book, just downloaded the second. At first I wasn’t into the general vibe of the mains but they both grew on me.
The female narrator crushed this, but the male narrator in the bonus chapter for Adrien at the end missed the mark. I only listened to maybe 20 seconds of his voice before ending the book there. It just wasn’t what I had envisioned the blood king sounding like.
But overall good read!

I loved this book and the narration. Except I hope they find a new voice for Adrian. It just doesn't seem to match his personality

Fantasy-Romance story

I was looking for a typical fantasy Romance. SJM and Jennifer Armentrout fans will love this. This book contained the right amount of spice to support the plot; it wasn't overwhelming. The book had a good storyline and kept me entertained. I will definitely grab book 2.

this book is everything! EXCEPT the male narrator

he just gave off a creepy vibe, hope he isn't used for any sequels. literally just skip the bonus chapter from Adrian's pov cause the voice actor is not a good fit at all.
