Want to find another book to recreate the feeling
This book grabbed me immediately. The world creation, the story, the steam, all of it - chefs kiss. LOVED the female narrator. She's got a great voice. Thank God we don't hear the male narrator until the last part of the book. Completely wrong choice for the character. It's why I'm reading the second book and not listening to it. I'm trying to find another book to recreate the feeling this book gave me.

Wasted my time!
I swear if I ever hear the words “my people” again my ears will explode. It must have been said 1000 times. The voice for the main make character was awful. I finished it hoping it would get better but it didn’t. Don’t waste your time.

Pretty good book
So the main character was a little hard to like and wasn’t super relatable. But the overall story was good and I liked the book more towards the end when things got more interesting. But the last chapter… the narrator was awful. If he’s narrating the next book I’ll definitely pass 😂 I couldn’t finish, it
