Male Narrator was Painful

I agree, the story, though not original was great! I enjoyed the interesting twist on what feels like the same fantasy novel I have read 16 times over now. The female narrator was amazing. I thought her skill even in portraying the men was quite good, but book three when the male narrator came in was awful. I hate to say it but all of it felt over acted and made me cringe every time he spoke. His overly wistful tone that left the end of every sentence in a drone was the hardest thing to listen to. I wish they would’ve let the female narrate the female voices in Evanders part, because his sad excuse for a female voice had me nearly put the book down. All in all. Maybe it’s a good read, but not a good listen?

BAD A** HEROINE

Throughly enjoyed listening to this story. The drama and turn of events were riveting. The back and forth between the protagonist and her love interest made me giddy and laugh out loud so many times. Loved, loved, loved the fact that Rowan wasn’t painted as a helpless heroine but one that was valiant, courageous, and determined.

Throughly enjoyed the story and I would definitely recommend.

Just wow

I started this book because I was bored and didn’t want something to in-depth as I waited for the next book to come out in a different series… this book engulfed me. The story, the voice actors and the plot twists! Think I may have found a new amazing author to add to my list. The only complaint I have is that it’s not so easy to see what comes first in the series. Recommend reading the treaty book first as its before the books with Rowan.

Amazing

I absolutely loved Rowan, the Lochlann Feud series! Rowan is such an adventure that keeps your entertained while making you love in love with the characters. I want to live in the Lochlann world! Olivia King and Adam Gold were fantastic narrators who voiced the characters perfectly! The bonus chapters were such an amazing addition! I loved the extra insights into the characters. I have relistened to the series twice now and will listen again soon! I also love that this is a story that I can share with my teenage daughters and we can read it and talk about the books together.

I instantly fell deep into these books. I laughed and cried right along with each character.

the narrators, the story, the BANTERRRRR!!! Everything about this is flawless! I can’t believe I didn’t read this sooner, and can’t wait to read the rest of the works by these authors!

Just WOW!

I have listened to over 1,000 audio books and this is the first one that I have felt so strongly about that I have left a review! It is such a well written story and great audio performance. I did not find myself rolling my eyes at the too often used lines or unoriginal plot. I cannot wait to listen again!
