First book, fantastic!

Editing my review. Maybe my standards aren't what everyone else's are... but I believe this storyline to be "different" than most. There aren't any plot holes, more plot twists! I do like the dance between the two main characters. Knowing there's attraction, and not giving in.... yet. The narrator is excellent! I could listen all day!

Cliffhanger

Really liked the characters and story. Great narration. But unhappy that there was not a real ending.

Don't hesitate, you will be hooked in 3 chapters or less. I love it when I stumble across a completed series on Audible but bonus this is an excellent one!

Interesting

I enjoyed this writing style very much and the narration was very well done. A very good read or listen.

Decent well written story.

It was a well paced story although not cant put down worth… but it has been the first book i havent dnfed in a while.

Good story!

This is a good story! I enjoyed it a lot and finished it in one day. I am not a big fan of the narrator. She has a very nasally voice and drags out the last word in the sentence a lot. I almost stopped in chapter 3 but continues to push on and I’m glad I did. And honestly, after listening to it for 7 hours, I started not to notice the narrators voice as much.

Captivating listen

I really enjoyed this story, at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about the narrator but as you get to know the MC you realize how much she fits just right for her. This story definitely keeps you on your toes as you read. Can’t wait to listen to the next one!

I love this series

I absolutely love that the main character isn't your typical good guy. Quinn is fantastically dark and evil

I was a little unsure when I first started listening. But I absolutely love this book and I’m so excited to listen to the second powerful, not naïve heroin, which is astoundingly refreshing from most other novels I have read in recent years. I absolutely hate an annoying, naïve main character that is weak the entire story, and then all of a sudden they become powerful and save the day 🙄 Quinn is wonderful, wicked, and powerful right off the bat. Must read!
