not sure how so many people missed the genre of the book, but yes it is a shifter romance so it has sex scenes lmao. but as far as an entry in the genre goes, it's a little flat. it's a "reverse harem" that is almost entirely four seperate monogamous relationships. the dynamic between all 5 of them is never really explored emotionally or otherwise and the story never really manages to convince me of the reason it needs to be a harem. theres one or two threesomes in the entire series and everything else, from kissing to conversations to planning is a one on one activity. part of the fun of the genre is exploring the complicated dynamic of multiple equally invested people in the relationship. but in all those regards, this one falls flat. otherwise it's fun and well narrated and not horribly immature or unrealistic. so an ok read

completely enthralled

This was a series that I literally could not stop listening to... concept, performance and writing is superb... and the author's sexual enactment was excellent... as far as sci-fi writing goes, it just doesn't get much better... thank you for an excellent listening experience...

This needs to be in theaters

I caught myself imagining Seeing this, as the story went by Like if it was in a movie it made me feel like I was right there experiencing what they were going through the emotion the sensuality It drew me in like a moth to a flame

Great Read

I really enjoyed this! A little more exotic than I expected but still a great read.

Good Story

This is a good story with a different take on the supernatural world. Overall was very enjoyable but I think it could’ve toned down the sex scenes a bit plus what drove me crazy about narrator Felicity Monroe because she kept pronouncing dragon as dregan. Her voice was pleasant and created her characters well but that mispronunciation was annoying.

this is what a five-star performance sounds like

amazing consistent voices for each character full of normal emotion and inflection! I couldn't belive just two actors did all of this.
the story is great, too, with drama and intrigue broken up by romantic and sometimes hot scenes. while a RH, all 5 only show up once and all the scenes are fairly vanilla for polyamory. very little DS play, a lot of respect and equal partnership.

Where’s the rest?

Loved the series.. but what is after book 4? A book 5? Another series? Would love to read more!

This book was a great read for my commute. The storyline and the characters were great.

Cliffhanger

It was a good thing they came in a bundle, because every single one of them was a cliffhanger. All in all the stories were good and very excellent narration.

What a great story! I was on a spicy emotional ride and never wanted it to end 🥰. I thought it’d be too many lovers but wow, the fluidity between them and their relationship was so smooth, very well written. Thank you!
