Absolutely Fantastic!

This is one of the best books I've encountered in a long time. The story is fresh and unlike anything else I've come across. The world building is great, and although the book is long, there is never a dip in pacing. The narrators did a great job. I'm always looking for new content, and this only recently popped up on one recommended paranormal/fantasy romance list. Why this isn't all over booktok, goodreads, etc. is beyond me... it definitely deserves more hype!

Incredible

The storyline and performance was just incredible! I was sucked into their world from page one. I highly recommend it!

Perfection!

I don’t think I have the proper worlds to explain how perfect this audiobook was! The only thing that would make it better is if the narrators did dual (I think that’s where the male does all male voices, female does all females). I truly enjoyed reading the book but listening to the narrators bring it to life was something incredible!
Trust me and know that if gothic romance is your jam, Quickly grab this book
P.S. Jericho is next level smexy

Such a gripping Gothic Romance!

The definition of a love that is meant to be. Was this a JOURNEY! It is a slow burn and majority of the beginning of the book is very much setting up in a sense. We are learning a story, and witness what enteral love really means. The paranormal factor and the gothic elements were perfection. UGH I had so many moments that my mouth was in the floor! The twist and turns will have you on the edge of your seat!
Highly recommend this & for those who love audiobook this was a great one to listen to! Well done! ⭐️

beautiful story

I loved this book. My only complaint was the narrator constantly saying bellfry (like the tower where a bell is hung) as bell fry. I get that it is spelled that way but it just killed me 😂

Fantastic Story

I loved the story. The imagery created by Keri’s words left a lasting impression. I look forward to reading her other books.
I almost didn’t finish the book, fortunately I kept going, largely impart to the male narrator. I did not like the females, her inflections never really matched what was being said. Truthfully I bet Feryne’s story would’ve been that much better. I know I enjoyed hearing Jericho’s story.
If you can get past the females voice this story is well worth the extra effort.

Plot

Y’all I loved this book. This audio made me want to purchase the physical copy and reread it all over again. Keri Lake you are a queen!! Nightshade is my favorite read/audio for 2024 I loved it so much!

loved it, the story had a few points that kinda made me question what was going on. But the author was able to wrap everything up with a nice bow at the end

Paranormal Romance, Worth the Credit

This story was a little confusing at first. It switches back and forth through time. I found the past story much more compelling. The modern story dragged at times. I wish more of that time was spent explaining more mechanics of the world.

The performers were, overall, good. However, the male Narrator left long pauses after his lines. This is particularly hard for me, as I'm extremely ADD. I wound up speeding him

Nightshade is absolutely fantastic!

It has all the essential elements of an epic love story—fated mates, angels and demons, a morally gray MMC, and even reincarnation for good measure.

If you love religious history, Gothic vibes, and paranormal romance, I highly recommend this book. It’s a slow burn but has just enough spice to keep you hooked.

While it’s not duet narration (my favorite), Islay Jacobs and Ryan West still do an amazing job!
