Publisher's summary

"The sexy, action-packed first dramatized audiobook adaptation in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking series that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable listen.

Performed by Melody Muze, Henry W. Kramer, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Debi Tinsley, Bradley Foster Smith, Alejandro Ruiz, Christopher Graybill, Julie Hoverson, Karenna Foley, Eric Messner, Anthony Palmini, Steve Wannall, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Mort Shelby, Laura C. Very well done

The full cast recording is very nice. I was occasionally very distracted by the sound effects but overall I enjoyed this audiobook.

5 star book, can’t say the same for main character narrator

Yeah, I would rather read the book than listen to her read anything else ever again. Her voice was too light, too dry, too shallow and it was extremely distracting from the story line rather than adding to the experience. Same for the male narrator, good grief, he reminded me of a voice over from Thomas the train in the 90’s.

Mispronounced Words

So many words just said entirely wrong. Not even an accent difference, just badly said.
Apparently dramatization of the book just means that you’re going to hear millions of footsteps while the book is read to you.

Despite all the hype..

I found the story inconsistent and irritating after a point... but graphic audio is pretty awesome! Though i feel that some of the background piano music didn't really fit the tone of the scene being read a few times, i did really like it overall!

Loved it

This is my first graphic audio. I loved it. I’m a mother of young children so I get so little time with a book and when I do I end up falling asleep. I was able to listen to this while I did chores. It was so relaxing. I wish that it wasn’t two credits for the book is all. It was worth it though. I hope they are all made this way.

Pretty good

A story is pretty good so far. The audio is a little staticky at times and the main narrator talks very quick so I had to listen at .9x speed then it sounded normal. But like I said the story is good and I’m moving on to part 2 of the graphic audio.

I couldn’t stop listening!

I’ve already read this entire series but I can’t tell you how excited I was to listen to this! It was amazing and I couldn’t stop listening!! I literally could not contain my inner fangirl when she met Rhysand. ❤️

Pretty good!!

This audio covers ch 1-ch 23, but the audio has it split into 5 chapters. The voices are pretty good, sometimes the background noise can be a bit overwhelming and make it hard to concentrate on the dialogue but it got better as I got used to it. They do talk pretty fast, and some little sentences get skipped like “he said/she said” and other descriptions. It doesn’t bother me, but it may bother some people who follow along with an actual book. I had the ebook and followed along sometimes and it never bothered me.
