Surprisingly, being famous for making the Kingdom wealthy and powerful has its downsides. Namely, there is now a huge price on their heads. Ordered to flee from the political machinations, assassins, and marriage proposals, The Four soon find themselves searching for a way to pit their power against the world, and make a comfy home in the desert.

The problem is, Nature likes to be left alone. When you start messing with it....Anything could happen.

A bit more humorous than book one in the bestway

Excellent sequel to an excellent book, very much in the same vain but the humor just landed better for me personally than book 1 did which elevated it to the next level of fun. I loved it.

Really enjoyed this book over all

Dakota Krout has really stepped up in the muderhobo series with this book. Felt like he listed to the listeners and made all the characters intriguing. This book is funny and kept me wanting to listen even when I needed to go to bed. Only thing is the narrator and not changing voices with Andre and Luke. Hard to tell the difference between characters at time.

I have been waiting for this for quite some time

This was absolutely amazing. I want more. I need more. Why is there no more. This is such a good story I’ve had such a great time with it. Please keep it coming

Great story and performance!

This book was a lot of fun to listen to. The story and narrator were the perfect match in this book, and both complimented each other perfectly. I look forward to listening to this book again soon.

I wonder if I can punch reality?

The first book was fun but felt incomplete, this one feels amazingly fleshed out. The narrative remains interesting and the perspectives unique throughout. The scope of the "world" shows us just how far our characters can go. The worst part is that the book ended and I want the next installment now. I'm totally invested.

Please, let me sit in a tavern and listen to Zed the true bard continue to tell this story...
And please Dakota Kraut, keep the way you name your books, it is amazing to wait until the end of the book to find out why the book has that subtitle, and maybe they can establish a trading relationship with Mountain Dale, if Dale ends up leaving Cal's soul space, that bottle is really useful :P

Great story, needs new producer

This is a great example of a unique litRPG/progression fantasy that doesn't rely on system tropes but does have OP mains. Story archs are well made. This is well worth listening to, even with the caveat below regarding its production.

Important: Significant and important events/chapters are left out of this reading. To prevent spoilers I will not provide story details but transitions occur that clearly show information is missing (same characters in one location at one moment, in a different world 2 seconds later referencing new events all in the same chapter).
