Then, in the mailbag, Susie takes a hard line with a woman says she's plagued by recurrent urinary tract infections.

Where do we stand in the fight against HIV/AIDS? Today's show takes a looks at the politics and decision-making behind how money is spent to combat the disease. Susie has an interview with Elizabeth Pisani, author of the new book The Wisdom of Whores: Bureaucrats, Brothels and the Business of AIDS, in which they examine the bamboozling of the public about what's being done. They also discuss whether the number of sexual partners one has indicates the inevitability of contracting AIDS.
