A young man from Earth struggles to survive in a fantastical realm of blood, battles, and berserkers as the action-packed LitRPG series continues.
When young Victor Sandoval was snatched from his abuela's home and thrust into a brutal existence as a pit fighter in the land of Fanwath, it took a long time—and a heck of a lot of acquired skills and levels—to survive and become a formidable warrior with anger issues to spare. And now he seems to be right back at the bottom of the barrel.
Heaved through a portal while defeating a particularly obnoxious pyromancer, Victor and his companion, Valla, find themselves on a new planet populated by serpentines, insectoids, and giants so far beyond the pair in might and experience as to be nigh invulnerable. If the warriors are to withstand this dangerous realm, they'll have to endure countless tribulations to build up their own strength.
Once again, Victor must hack and hew his way to victory in the arena for a devious warlord, while Valla must honor an unwanted duel against a seemingly unbeatable opponent. Amazing amazing amazin
I have listened to many books in this genre. I love HWFWM and Defiance of the Fall and appreciate a few others. I have never felt the urge to leave a comment for those. However, this book was wonderful. A great story through and through. Filled with action, progress, plot progression, character progression, and never did I have the thought the story was dragging on. WOW. Can’t wait for the next one. Well Done!

so good so entertaining
It was just quality from beginning to end. good characters. good fights, good flavor. good world building. good setup for the future. really looking forward to the next one in the series which comes out in March. can't come soon enough

I really love these books and...
Im excited for the future of these books. Im hoping the Falling With Folded Wings crossover happens in the next book. Its kind of pulling ahead in timeline isnt it. I think it makes sense to happen soon and I'll be a bit turned off if it doesnt.

Love just about everything in Victor of Tucson. Great character building, OP MC, easy to understand cultivation, and wonderful narration.

best book by far in the series
All of the books have been good, but this one, this one captured my imagination the most. the twist at the end with the war lord's plan actually caught me off guard. I need more life drinker interactions though. we have gotten a lot of build up for her, time to see it come to fruition with some more dialog.
