I particularly like the morally gray aspect of silver, which contrasts most stories were the hero has to do something rather stupid just because other morals.

Good story of bad being good.
I HATE that book four the "coin flip" was not actually used. rose's explanation is invalid as silver discharged the weapon multiple times meaning it would not have accidentally discharged later

Dude WTF?!
I have no regrets about spending the zero dollars on this series. On the other hand, I do have regrets about the 80 hours that I spent listening to this series only for the story to go completely off the rails with five hours to go. I think I did a pretty good job of keeping up with the thousand characters in the 100 subplots but he ended up just losing me. I realized that I didn’t have a clue about what the MC was rambling on about and I put it down. Shame that I’ll never find out the answers to Sylvers questions…ok I’m over it.
BTW, the narrator is top notch!
