The music was super annoying!

The music was distracting and annoying. Other than that the story was interesting and engaging.

It was a good story, plus it left on a cliffhanger leaves you wondering what will happen next.

I’m dizzy after all of the crazy twists and turns!! What a fabulous read! Loved it!

Dark, but Satisfying

Have to say that I think this novel, and stories like it, have risen in popularity as more and more of us revolt against stereotypical female categories, including the assumption that only men can date anyone substantially younger than themselves; women over 50 are “done;” and the idea that all middle-aged women and mothers are either old hags or angels. Some very complex characters share alternating protagonists’ roles!

Secret Sisters also strikes out against not only abusive and controlling men, but women, too, along with cankering jealousies and infighting among women over societal status and men.

But this story isn’t all darkness and rebellion, it’s also a celebration of forgiveness, and healthy, natural, undying inclinations of the heart which can overcome seemingly impossible odds for the sake of beloved family members, even after decades of separation.

It’s whodunnit that kept me guessing and wondering all the way through and I enjoyed it immensely!

Loved the psychology!

The different characters were portrayed very well. The mystery of “who did it” kept me guessing til the end. Loved the conclusion!

Intriguing

This was very well written, performed great, and kept me captivated throughout the whole book.

Very good book!

This was a really good listen. The voice acting was great. There are a few reviews that complained about the music, but honestly, it lasted about five seconds at the beginning of each chapter and was not distracting or annoying to me. And I actually liked the sound effects, but I’m a fan of audio dramas, so I’m used to them. The only thing that I had a minor issue with was that the ending chapters were dragged out a bit. I felt like they could have been condensed a bit, but that’s a very minor thing.

I loved this book. It kept me guessing about this, that, and the other until the very end. Highly recommend!
