Just as a series of puzzling deaths begin plaguing their small town of Sugarland.

With the help of her college best friend and occasional lover, Teddy, Zephyr unravels truths about Sugarland that are impossible for her to accept ...

Forcing her to make an unconscionable choice that will change the lives of her friends and family, forever.

Odd indeed

It was a great performance but story was a bit too modern 20-something for me. There was more good than bad but the story seemed a bit disjoined in a way I can't quite put into words.

Overall, a quick little story with some interesting twists and turns.

Enjoyed it!

The book was short, interesting and witty, and I truly enjoyed it (even though I didn’t quite believe the story and some of characters thought processes). Abrubt ending. The performance was great!

Unexpectedly decent

I just finished listening to Sugarland, and wow—what a ride. This audiobook had me frustrated, captivated, and completely hooked from start to finish. The twists and turns were relentless, and every time I thought I had it figured out, the story flipped again.

What really struck me was how eerily similar it felt to Into the Madness by Trevor Aaronson. If you’ve listened to that one, you’ll definitely catch the same unsettling undertones here. It’s creepy in the worst way, especially the way it explores manipulation and obsession through modern tech.

Sugarland isn’t just a thriller—it’s a psychological maze that pulls you in and doesn’t let go. Highly recommend if you’re into suspenseful, layered storytelling with a touch of the unexpected.

ridiculously unbelievable storyline

storyline was unbelievable, and not in a good way. the 3 way relationship between characters was weird and added nothing to the storyline besides trying to be edgy. overall I found myself wondering multiple times throughout the story why I was still listening, kept thinking it would pull together and get better. it didn't, should have exited and listened to something else.

A well acted and well produced, if not, totally unbelievable story

The voice, talent and production were top-notch. The content itself was so full of plot holes and tropes that it made it mildly unlistenable.

Great acting and twisty story

Awesome voice acting throughout and a disturbing (and sadly timely) story of teen male struggle.

Food but a little confusing

I enjoyed it overall but at times was lost, lots of characters and back and forth. A little too much vulgarity and descriptive sex.
