Wow

I don't know how you can make a second installment better than the first, I personally struggled with the first book but this one I am blown a way by. Incredible storyline and character development which I thought was lacking in the first. I cannot wait to get started on the next and I will definitely recommend this series in the future.

Good transition story

Clearly a transition between books 1 and 3. I liked that there was minimal retelling of book 1. There were periods where i felt that there was too much angst over emotion or perceptions of relationships, but i guess that is in order of a teen genre, and i was happy to be able to speed up the narration

Im looking forward to the 3rd book. Especially since I've just now looked at the mixed reviews in regards to the ending

Love this series!!

I think this book is my favorite in the series, it feels so magical and empowering. I love Jezelia and her complex character, her inner battle really pulls you in and has you cheering her on. This series is so so good! And this book is my favorite probably because I love Kaden and this one really expands on their relationship. The narrators also did a great job!

It was a psychological thriller, it made my heart race especially when the Komisar was around, I hated him!!!

Because I am already listening to #3 all I will say about this amazing audiobook is that I loved this book and narrators Emily Rankin, Ann Marie Lee, Ryan Gesell, Kirby Heyborne, Kim Mai were so so good!!! The deception and betrayal and most especially that dreadful Vendan Komisar who was so power hungry and heinous, made my skin crawl every time he spoke and oh did he speak. As Lia and Rafe are captured and prisoners of Venda, readers will race to try to find out if they make it out and what will happen with Caden and Pauline. Oh the lies and subterfuge were so thorough - a must read series!!!
