Good read

I like this one in the series before it is well. Good book, interesting, funny and sexy.

Cute and unique

I really enjoy the alien romances where the guys isn’t sure about her, and she and her cuteness grow on him

Extension universe collection

If you enjoyed the world of Xul and his rebel brothers, this is an happy unexpected extension of that universe. It is so cool to see how the rest of the universe lives with the gator-guards and their toad-like overlords. And it answers the questions about what happened to some of the other abducted humans. Quirky, funny and just enough steamy, I greatly enjoyed this listen.

So Fleking cute!

This was such a good story, with lots of giggles throughout. The sexy spots had great build up and tension and the steamy bits were sexy but not cringe so it didn’t make me uncomfortable which I appreciate not embarrassing myself by flushing in the middle of Walmart while listening to the book🫣. Hollie Jackson rocked it as always, she really has to be my single favorite female narrator!

Great story! Very cute book, enjoyed the dynamic of the main characters. I think it’s my new favorite alien love story lol

the story was really good, and I recommend it, but the performance was amazing by both narrators! they give a wide variety of accents flawlessly! give this a listen!

Funny

This is a great off-shoot of the Captured by Aliens series. It was funny and Riv was a wonderful grumpy male lead while Lauren was funny and strong. Great combo. I hope the author releases more of her books on audio

Cute but SLOW

Interesting, cute funny story.. I just took long for them to come together! Slow but I will finish the series lol!

So cute

Your typical story about an outcast alien and abducted girl falling in love. Yes I loved it. It was cute and a slow burn.

Grumpy sunshine slow burn

This was my kind of alien romance. Riv may be extra grumpy, but he’s an honorable grump.
Lauren is smart and capable and not simply a damsel. There are some cute pets and a few interesting supporting characters. Even with the slow burn, I enjoyed listening.

It’s a little darker than Ruby Dixon’s works, with a lot of the story spent detailing the slavery backstories. The overall tone, however, is sweet with occasional humor and two well done, and not overly detailed, sex scenes.

Some random thoughts:
While I’d have liked dual narration, Holly Jackson is my favorite female narrator for feisty alien romance. There are a bit too many F bombs for my taste, of both the Earth and the alien ‘fekken’ variety.
And the translation issues went on for at least half the book (still decently handled though).
