Publisher's summary

Alexander C. Kane, author of the smash-hit Andrea Vernon series, brings his signature humor to the adventures of an unlikely, tenacious new heroine in this fantastic free-for-all.

Gretch Wolgast is a bit of a dud. Just ask her. She’s a 21-year-old college dropout who has a loser job at the mall. Sure, she can lift a tennis ball with her telekinetic powers. But only three feet in the air. And she has to be sitting.

Gretch is an OP, one of thousands born in Orlando, Florida, in the early 1980s who mysteriously developed the ability to move things with their minds. Unfortunately, she turned out to be the weakest of the bunch.

Then Shaq left town to join the Lakers, and it's been downhill ever since.

Now, Gretch’s life is being turned upside down. She witnesses a murder and discovers a wide-ranging conspiracy that could destroy her hometown and all the OP.

And she might be the only one powerful enough to stop it.

I love it!

I have listened to this book so many times that I know what they're going to say before they say it. I absolutely love this book, the narrator is amazing and fits the main character perfectly ( in my opinion) . This is my go to book for when I cant sleep. I absolutely adore this book.

Just like I’d love living in OTown, I loved (and love) Orlando People

Moved to Orlando a month ago from the very, very conservative city of Jacksonville (most of my life there!). Anyway, my daughter moved here for UCF years ago and was Miss Orlando at one point, so I’ve kept abreast of the ongoings in this city. It is so progressive! And I love how Kane captures this and so much more in the book! Need a sequel, please! The story and allegories and parallels are brilliant. Fantastic job! Need more!

Also, the narration was awesome.

Book was great but please no more singing.

The main characters says she can't sing and she is right. Every now and then she bursts into song and it ruins the narration.
Main character is funny. The basic premise is that a group of people born at a certain time in Orlando have telekinetic powers. No one knows why this has happened. The talented chosen have suffered the intrusive interest of both the medical community and the federal government. As they reach adulthood they struggle to maintain a normalcy that is not quite normal. The plot is driven by a murder using telekinetic power Fun light read
