Just wow.
J. L. did it again. Just when I thought I could nail down every killer in one of these type thrillers every time, here she comes with her books. It's definitely a twisty one that leaves you wondering what happened after the book ends. What a well written cozy mystery. Cheers!

JL Hyde GETS IT!
I love this author’s writing—each of her books has gotten better and better and I am SO excited to jump into the next. I listened to this one on Audible and the narrator’s voice is super easy to listen to. I binged it in 2 days and it was just a super satisfying suspense read with a great ending, and the characters are all relatable and realistic. READ JL HYDE NOWWWW

So many red herrings.
I must say the TikTok reviews were completely wrong. I love who the killer ended up being. There were so many red herrings. It made it so much fun.
My only complaint is, I wish the taste and habits of some of the characters weren’t so basic lol

Fast paced light small town thriller love
Hyde is consistent in her writing small town thrillers, connecting characters, Midwest charm and humor, in a quick engaging storyline that keeps me interested and surprised but not completely horrified. I love it! This one is great to read at the start of fall. All her books are perfect if you love suspense but are maybe a highly sensitive person HSP who could do without tons of gore. This series did not disappoint.

Loved it
I am an audiobook junky, my daughter, in OKC, turned me on to this book so I went back and read all 3 books, totally loved the ending and the suspense of each book!! The narrator needs a little more experience in her voices, I was confused a few times on who was talking, but it got better. But the stories were a good read, wasn’t looking for that ending.
