The greatest days of Heather Matthews' life have taken place in Delta County. Unfortunately, so have the worst.
Ten years after an unspeakable tragedy took the lives of the two people she loved the most, Heather returns to her hometown for a class reunion with her high school sweetheart, who is now her husband. Just when she recalls all the reasons to love the idyllic lakeside town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, her life is once again turned upside down.
Heather must push her grief aside and investigate the events that occurred the night of the reunion. The process will also have her questioning everything she thought she knew about the tragedy 10 years prior.

Entertaining but….
Although I liked the story, I hated the recording. Some of the story was recorded in a very clear and crisp way but there were other parts where it sounded like she was recording in her bathroom. It took away from the story because it was very distracting!

Great book
Amazing storyline for anyone that likes a good murder mystery plot and is tired of being able to guess the ending. This one threw me for a loop.

The reader had an accent/slight lisp that was sometimes difficult to hear but the story was good and the ending unexpected, which I liked. Overall good…

A Good Story
I really still am not sure how I feel about all......this! The story was good. I liked the main character and I did not guess the ending. Actually, I wasn't even close. But it was a little out there too. I agree with other reviewers that the ending felt a little rushed. Maybe it was even a little crazy? And the narrator? she was alright. I give the story a solid 4 and narration 3.5. maybe I should've waited to review instead of coming here to review right away. But I will read more from this author and I would recommend the read.

Bad Narration or bad storyline?
I love JL Hyde and it's the only reason I kept with this audiobook. I felt like the narrator was not "telling a story" but yet reading from a page. it was bland, poor voice differentiating. It very well may be the reason this story fell flat for me. I may just stick to kindle/physical books for JL hyde, cause I definitely don't want another story to feel like wasted time due to poor narration.
