Loved this audio book! It was a book that had me till the very end!

Sucks you in

It’s a great story and you can’t wait to get to the end. The narration is ok. At first it was annoying but eventually I got used to it. I’ve heard way worse.

Wow

Sad that there was only a minuscule reference to the previous book. However, this was another book full of surprises.

Another great story that kept me guessing!

I really enjoyed this author’s first book in the series, and this one was even better! Great story telling and lots of nostalgia mixed with an ending that I did not see coming. Can’t wait for the next one!

Didn’t expect that

That was an easy listen. I listened st 1.3x normal speed. The story definitely caught me off guard.

The book, author and narrator are all 10/10!

I just found Jl Hyde and so far every book is better than I can imagine! The narrator is so good, too! I could listen to her read the dictionary!

Brought back fun memories with a great story!

She brought back memories of summer camps and first loves, all the while telling a good mystery with a great ending. Looking forward to listening to more of her novels.

Great Idea - I didn't enjoy the execution!

The idea was great. This book spent a lot of time on the teenage agnst - not enough on the adult perspectives. I struggled to finish this book, and the conclusion was not worth the journey.

Good plot

The plot was great and had a lot of potential. The writing was a little clunky and forced at times. Overall it was enjoyable enough to finish.

Remarkable tales of youth and mystery

This was not what I expected at all but was a great listen ..... even the ending left me in stunned silence. Enjoyed the intrigue and trying to figure out the 'bad guy' almost from the beginning. The transition between 'then' and 'now' was done well. If I listen to this again, even knowing the outcome, won't spoil it......and I will listen more intently for subtle clues I missed the first listen. I recommend highly.
