Forced to hide his identity up until now, Thaden soon learns that it may cause more trouble than it’s worth…

Even though he never intended it to happen, the events that occurred in the city of Forgestone have set Thaden on a course to fix the problems that he inadvertently caused. His inner sense of responsibility has now put him firmly on the path to eliminate or at least minimize the destruction and loss of life that could occur from the fallout of the SPECIAL Quests he’s been assigned, so he is putting all his focus on accomplishing this feat as soon as possible.

Thankfully, his journey and interaction with other Contenders is helped by the changes the Assimilation System put into place a short time ago, reducing—but not eliminating—the likelihood that he will be attacked by those same Contenders. Of course, time will only tell if everyone will get the memo and leave him alone; if not, he still has ways to move about in disguise, which he is hoping will be enough to forgo any problems that may come up.

But before he can throw himself into the search for the Anchor dungeons mentioned in the SPECIAL Quests he had been assigned, Thaden and his brand-new Class wants to find some stronger, more specialized gear with which to get himself better outfitted. To that end, his first stop is to visit a dungeon that purportedly has a higher likelihood of having Support-Class drops; however, The Devil’s Nail turns out to be nothing like what he had been expecting….

This story contains an overpowered MC with a normally non-offense-based Class, LitRPG progression mechanics and stats, and isekai/portal fantasy elements. Contains no sexual content or harems.

One more great story!

With a main character who is not your typical class what can go wrong? For Thaden just about anything. However with some uncanny luck, and lots of out of the box thinking he somehow manages to not only survive, but completely dominates his enemies once again. Another great entery in the Earthen Contenders series.

The search is on and transition to the next part begins

The search is on for the next dungeon. In his quest, this is really good and it has a lot of good qualities to it. The one thing is be prepared is this is really crunchy, there's a lot of well. I don't want to say it's too much, but it's close. When it comes to the stats, The author is someone who's able to find a balance between stats and story. This one was close, but still 1 of his best works. Especially in that he's getting us ready for the next book, but he doesn't hit us Uber the head with it and is in the moment when it comes to the story and helps us. Two, see what's going on at this time

Fun

Great listen! The MC travels seeking the anchor dungeons to stop catastrophe. He gets stronger along the way but the System doesn’t seem to know what to do with him. Ultimately he gets stronger along quarantined and released in time for new rankings.

Awesome!

I have been waiting for this adventure to continue. The glitch continues to wreak havoc on the powers that be in this strange world. This OP MC still doesn't trust many of the other humans in this death trap of a trial. It was nice to see someone survive meeting him but its never to late for them to be axed in the next book. Thaden drives the advancement of the non contenders in the creation of high level gear. The anchor dungeon trap quest line continues and the glitches fall like rain. I cant wait for the next one!

Great story building.

It’s in a great genre. It does fall to similar issues with others in the genre. I.e. over powered main character. But despite that things progress well and keeps you around wanting to know what happens next.

This story just gets better.

This 3rd book is really well written and balances MC's overpower with situations that still keeps the listener on the edge of its seat. In this part of the story we learn more about The System and experience the MC gaining yet more achievements while having more pleasant interactions with other people, as he does not feel the need to hide anymore. The MC's build/setup changes several times, keeping it fresh. Looking forward the next book!

What in the world is going on!?

Glitches in the system causing some real random issues here, I have questions and I hope the next book will answer them.
I’m happy to hear the MC not be as paranoid and embrace his power after the last book.

Good but confusing at times

I love the storyline and although entertaining it’s sometimes annoying and difficult to follow. The MC operates like an OP Resto-Druid/Enhancement Shammy but the spells are weird and uninspiring . Also I think the MC is sometimes stupid. In his thoughts and execution of his quests. . Moreover, there are way to much stats and spells. The constant glitches and errors really impact the overall premise, progression and focus.

Another solid entry

There are a couple really cool dungeon dives. The MC is more OP than an ever. I’m excited to see what happens next with everyone else catching up in power. The narration was well doe.

Great series!

All I read (Listen to) is Isekai LitRPG type books and this series is in my top 3 for sure. I like the OP MC, I mean, if I'm going to live vicariously through a fictional character I want them to be bad ass lol. My only gripe is there isn't 10 more books in the series waiting for me!
