But eventually, our explosive attraction became too much to bear, and we broke our resolve. I let my guard down and started to really fall for Colby.

5 STARS! A hard-fought, romantic and sexy opposites-attract single dad romance!

Both Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are fantastic authors on their own, but their co-written works are truly something special. The effortless way their words blend together, seamlessly transitioning between their individual writing styles consistently yields an absolutely addictive story. An exceptional creative pairing, I can’t get enough of their collaborative works.

The Rules of Dating is a single-dad romance with a twist. An opposites-attract, friends-to-lovers vibe threads through Colby and Billie’s romance. I loved everything about them, from the unconventional match-up of the buttoned-down businessman and the tattoo-parlor owner to their “undates.” From their hilarious first meeting, this couple were undeniably attracted to each other, and although they tried to fight it and stay in the friend-zone, there really was no denying their feelings for each other. Colby’s adorable daughter, Saylor, was a show-stealing little sweetheart. These two were so careful with their hearts, taking the time to really get to know each other, progressing slowly, and that’s why the twist in their story, and the timing of it, was such a kick to the gut. This couple definitely had fantastic chemistry, but it was the build-up to their relationship through that easy, flirty friendship, the bonding over the hero’s daughter and the undeniable feeling that they were just meant to be that made this such an unputdownable love story for me.

The Rules of Dating was as heartwarming as it was heart-wrenching. It was addictive and consuming with a had-to-happen, inevitable feel to the romance. These characters were endearing and vulnerable, and their love story was romantic, sweet and so very sexy. This was a hard-fought love story that unfolded through storyline full of twists and turns. I laughed and swooned my way through this totally engrossing page-turner. The Rules of Dating by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward gets five smooches from me!

Emotional single daddy romance

I really, really enjoyed this audiobook!

I loved the characters, (except for stupid, icky Mya), I loved the storyline (except for the ultimatum results), and I loved the narrators!

I laughed, swooned, got super pissed, and tears filled my eyes as my heart broke in a couple of parts.

I would abso-freaking-lutely recommend listening to this fantastic audiobook!

Fantastic narrators and story

Talk about opposites attract.
Colby, a single dad, with a focus on business and raising his 3 year old daughter is not the typical guy that Billie, a tattoo artist and scorned woman, falls for. But the more these two spend time with each other the more they feel the attraction.

Perfection.

What a story! Another fabulous story by two of my favorite authors. Colby has moved way at the top of my book boyfriend list. Billie is such a great character, strong, selfless, resilient and loving. The Rules of Dating is a unique story full of heart, passion, laughter and sacrifice made for the people we love. One of the best book I’ve read this year.

Loved every second!

Colby is a single dad of an adorable daughter. He meets Billie, a tattoo artist, while she pulled the ultimate break up with her boyfriend. Colby is enthralled with Billie from flatheads first and Billie is on a dating break. Their story, of course, hits a boulder in something from Colby’s past. Maxine Mitchell’s narration is flawless! Zachary Webber is at his absolute best though as Colby. 5 huge stars!

Chapter one is the GOAT!! 😂 This was such a nice listen 🥰 so many feels good moments. H and h are supposed to be opposites but they really do fit so well.

Amazing opposites attract romance

This was an amazing opposites attract romance. The story had me hooked right from the beginning. Billie was hilarious and so full of sass. Her first meeting with Colby had me laughing so hard that I almost cried. And the rest of the story was a great mix of humor, steam and gut wrenching emotions. I simply loved this story and I’m so excited that Holden will get his own story as well. And I’m holding out hope that Braden and Owen will also get to have their own stories told.

The story was really well narrated, I especially enjoyed Zachary Webber’s narration.
