Before I left, I asked to see Merrick. I needed to know why I was even in consideration after our disastrous start.

Turned out, Merrick only wanted to hire me because I was the least competent candidate. It seemed his board was making him fill the position, against his wishes.

I didn’t really want to work in a place where my boss expected me to fail. But I figured maybe I’d enjoy proving him wrong. It was a little thing I dubbed the boss project.

What I wasn’t prepared for was that there would be other things I’d enjoy doing to Merrick Crawford.

Getting involved with the boss wasn’t the smartest choice.

But you know what they say about choices: Some we regret, some we are proud of. I just had no idea where this one was going to land.

Merrick and Evie were delightful together

I purchased the audiobook on release day, and I finished it in one day- it's that good! It was narrated by fan favorites Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, who both gave fantastic performances. Main characters Merrick and Evie were just delightful- I loved their witty banter and the connection they had through their grandmothers.

Love love love

I have found another great author to download. This story made me laugh, cry and had all the love feels!

As always Vi Keeland takes you deep in this beautiful book.
I think everyone in the world wants a love like that.
The narration was spectacular! I am a big fan of Sebastian and Andi!

Great story!

I loved this book because it was such a nice story and the narrators were awesome! The story is interesting and it captivates your interest. It has several secrets that you can’t wait to unveil. The sensual scenes are just precise and the ending of the book is great! There are some parts that will make you smile, some will make you laugh and one part that got me teary eyed. I love Vi Keeland’s books, they never disappoint me!

I love Vi Keeland's books, they never disappoint. I love the characters, the banter, the funny and sad parts. As always Andi and Sebastian never disappoint, their narration is always flawless which makes the experience so much better.
Another 5 starts for me.

Couldn’t stop once I started

A beautiful storyline. The characters were so real and the story and a perfect ending.

Enjoyable in every way

The characters, the plot the dialogue, the narrators, everything was so enjoyable. I laughed out loud a couple of times enjoyed the steamy scenes and was impressed with the storyline.
This was my second experience reading one of her books, and I am now going to search for my third! I’m a big fan of Nora Roberts, but not the supernatural ones so I’ve been searching for a new romance writer and I’m so happy to find one in Ma. Keeland!
