The plot had the heaviness and twists that I’ve come to expect from Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. However, there was a lot of heart in this one! I love how both characters truly cared for each other and wanted the best for each other, despite sometimes they don’t always go hand in hand. The side characters also felt authentic as well. The romance was slower, but well developed. Simply, Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward do pining and age gaps beautifully!

What a fantastic read. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have delivered another superb story with characters who you cannot help but fall for. From the first paragraph, the authors wove a story that I couldn’t put down.

There is something about Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s style of writing and the stories they weave that draws you in and soon has you ignoring everything and everyone.

Brayden and Alex were meant to be and it was entertaining to watch as their relationship progressed.

I loved the camaraderie between Alex and his friends, it added an additional layer to this story. This was a passionate, witty, well written, at times emotional story.

The narration by Zachary Webber and CJ Bloom was excellent and they were easy to listen to. They brought the story to life for
me. One of my top listens of 2024.

Another great book. I love these guys. Hope there ends up being 1 more book for Wells! This book made me laugh and cry. I just love all the emotions these stories give. Everyone wants a Brayden!!! Swoon!

Reverse Age Gap, He falls first.

I have really enjoyed my journey through The Law of Opposites Attract series, each book has been a delight to read and I am sad to have the series end. Brayden and Alex story was and age gap where he falls first and a mixture of hate to love romance. Alex was very resistant of Brayden due to their age gap, I also felt she had not let her ex husband go completely. Brayden was persistent, he knew what he wanted and he was going after it. I really enjoyed Brayden and Alex's heart and how they so readily gave back. This book had a crazy twist but it worked. I loved the supporting characters, the story development, and how Alex and Brayden decided to make things work. overall great book.

Heartfelt story

Such a great story with laugh out loud moments as well as tearful ones. I loved the whole book and was easy to listen to with such great narrators.

Loved the story, loved how it meshed with past books in series, invested in the characters and just loved it!

I would give this more than five stars

this story takes you on a very emotional roller coaster. it's age Gap with the female being the older. which I being an older woman myself I liked that she was very hesitant even though she enjoyed his company she was still hesitant about dating a younger man especially since she had a stepdaughter his age made it very difficult for her and I could relate to that. but there's so much more that happens than just that I'm not going to get into it cuz I don't want to give it away but I will tell you I cried I laughed hysterically this story just had it all. and the narrators absolutely fabulous both male and female narrators did an excellent job of bringing the story to life. I definitely recommend that you listen to this.

Such a treat!

When Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward release a co-written book, I always know I am in for a treat! I purchased the audiobook as soon as it was available and it was a delight! From the mistaken identity meet-cute to the HEA for all four of the couples in this series, I enjoyed every moment. I love how much this book focused on the charity created for the gone-to-soon friend of the four heros of the series. Narrators C.J. Bloom and Zachary Webber were absolutely perfectly cast as Alex and Brayden and their performances added so much to the story for me.

6 hours I'll never get back

I usually love the writing style of these two authors and I absolutely love the narrators but this storyline was a swing and a miss!!! So BORING! The heroine was so annoying with the age thing, to the point I was hoping Brayden ended up a secondary character! I found myself adjusting the speed to the fastest setting just to get through it since I bought this book. Such a disappointment! Wish I could get a refund.
