Of the many glowing things I can say about The Dopamine Switch is that it helped me look at my relationships in a new way. I am not suggesting that the book or audiobook made a diagnosis, nor that it was therapy. It is, however, a new lens for seeing relationships, especially one of mine where another seemed to want quick, text conversations while I wanted more meaningful face-to-face conversations. I learned that it takes a willingness to enter into conversations outside the control of just putting the phone down.
