I recently listened to this audio book and found it to be an interesting approach to managing stress and improving overall well-being. If you’ve never heard of the Cortisol Detox Diet, you definitely need to check this book out. It illuminates how cortisol significantly impacts our ability to control our weight - sometimes even more than our food choices. The book goes into how cortisol works, how it interacts with other hormones and even our circadian rhythm to impact our weight loss journey. The book contains a number of tips on how to time meals and exercise, as well as seemingly small things such as coffee consumption to manage cortisol levels over time. In addition to the expected food recommendations, the author includes a number of lifestyle interventions and other techniques to manage stress and cortisol.

Improved my hormonal health

The information in this audiobook has been a great help for managing my stress and balancing out my hormones. It provides so much information about how cortisol affects your body. I've learnt alot - there was so much I didn’t know! Since listening to this audiobook, I have made a lot of lifestyle changes in an effort to lower my stress levels. I now can see how much of a negative impact it was having on my health.
