A MUST LISTEN

The science behind this eating plan is game changing. Susan Pierce Thompson shares her personal story and speaks with absolute authority about the way our brain works to keep us overweight. I definitely recommend you listen to the audiobook as her personality and infectious energy is palpable. I recommend this book to anyone, heavy or slim, who has ever obsessed about their food choices. One of my top 5 all time choices.

Love it

I’ve been struggling for over 40 years. I’m educated and a nutrition coach that needs this portion for my clients that also struggle at sustainability. I figured out I was addicted to food a bit ago but still had binged when I threw in the towel. Never giving up but just fighting to crack the code. I look forward to seeing if I can finally succeed.

Inspiring to say the least

I could listen to STP read the paper, she's so engaging. I hope to start the plan in a couple months after some previously planned trips and celebrations, so i can't speak to whether BLE has worked for me, but I'm so inspired and i look forward to beginning. That said, i did not care for the reader who voiced the women's testimonials. i was very distracted by the robotic tone, but otherwise, loved everything else.

Before you judge...just listen and think....she's right, and we all know it. Take the step, the ultimate act of self love and be as healthy and well as possible, living the BLE way.

Fabulous on all levels!!!

This audio book well exceeded my expectations on every level and will be an immense source of inspiration for me as I continue on my own journey of self-discovery and healing from food addiction. I plan to purchase the book for my library but this audio book has truly touched my heart in ways I could not have expected. Listening to Susan's narrative was like welcoming a friend into my own home and heart. It was almost as if she were reading my mind and had written this book just for me. I am truly grateful for her moving, masterful performance and can't recommend the audio version of this book highly enough.

This book has changed everything I thought I knew

Centered in science, this book has helped me gain an understanding of the hold food has over me and WHY. Since reading this book and cutting out sugar and flour, I have quickly dropped weight and feel as though I have found the secret up my health.

A scientific approach to weight loss

Would you listen to Bright Line Eating again? Why?

Yes, mostly because all the insights can't sink into my brain at once. The author presents it all beautifully, probably because she has been teaching a lot of college classes.

What other book might you compare Bright Line Eating to and why?

Not really, I haven't read a lot of similar books.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

Enthusiasm and clarity.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. Yes, because I was hungry for all the knowledge it contained once I got started. No, because there is too much stuff you wish to remember and my brain can't handle all of it at once.

Any additional comments?

The method is well researched and simple. Why and how it works are explained to you in a very scientific way, without condescension to your (probable) layman status. When it comes to the eating itself, it is simple and laid out in an easy to follow PDF.

Fantastic book based upon solid science

This weight loss approach makes so much sense to me. The author is straightforward and explains scientific concepts well so all can understand. In addition to being a scientist, she is a highly motivational weight loss coach.

A must read, even if you don't struggle with food.

I loved the story and science behind what flour and sugar are doing to our bodies and health. The first part of the book is a must read for everyone.
