I can't even tell you how I felt after listening to this. All this time I thought I was a confident person...I thought I was a strong person. Realizing I could be even stronger than this....it made me feel empowered. Day 7 smoke free and I feel so HAPPY!!!

Wow!

Would you listen to Stop Smoking with Allen Carr again? Why?

Nope. I quit smoking already.

Would you recommend Stop Smoking with Allen Carr to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes. I would recommend. However the reader needs to pay attention to what is being said under the surface. If you think about smoking then you are a smoker.

Which scene was your favorite?

No favorite scene. The story is good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No one point exactly. I realized that I was smoking unconsciously.

Any additional comments?

Once I accepted responsibility for smoking I was able to quit. My advice is to pay attention to your body and you will quit regardless of withdrawals. You can quit too.

I loved the original book but was very disappointed in the sales pitch at the beginning of this book. I almost stopped listening due to the sales pitch. I'm glad that I continued to listen. I thought the book was great.

good book but

I found a free pdf of the older version on Reddit. It helped me to quit January 1st. However, I’ve been experiencing the WORST withdrawals.. I gave in and purchased this version. I went out, bought a pack of cigarettes, and ran through the book one more time. This version was much more up to date on modern society, and the final epilogue read by Allen Carr completely destroyed me. I now feel 8000% more confident about my freedom from cigarettes. I will recommend this book for the rest of my life

This destroyed me.

Best book to help you stop. Well performed. Chapter at the end performed by Allen Carr a nice addition to this version.

Best book

I've read the paper back original easyway before, a few years ago. It helped me to quit smoking for a few months, however eventually I fell back into the trap. I never felt like I really grasped the concepts of the book. However this audiobook was arranged differently than the original, and I feel like it really helped me understand. It's been 6 days, and I already know I'm not going to smoke again. Why would I?

Probably saved my life

What did you love best about Stop Smoking with Allen Carr?

I have heard and read the first book. Some of his references did not sink in and I didnt get my head wrapped around some concepts until this book. Made for the 30th year anniversary in 2013. I was ENTIRELY in sinc with this one, Got the concepts straight away and related to many if not all the points he made. I picked up smoking EXACTLY as he described in the 1980's and this book was more directed to people who did that. It also had a better flow on of ideas and really was so well planned out that you understand what he is saying and take the time to reflect upon what he is saying with ease. I get it now. I can honestly say I really GET IT and you will understand why you smoke in the first place and how easy it can be to STOP once you FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Stop Smoking with Allen Carr?

Having an ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY and how this is simply not true. I burst into laughter when he described Smokers (the type) and non smokers (that type). He was SPOT ON. And very entertaining. I loved it.

What does Richard Mitchley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice was great, easy to listen to, authoritative, and it felt like he was just in front of me talking so I really took notice. I hated getting interrupted. Totally enthralled and he was NEVER ANNOYING! Great work.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Stop Smoking with Allen Carr?

I no longer desire to smoke. The secret is in this book. and it IS EASY!!! Do it for yourself.

Any additional comments?

If you have been through the last book, and still have a few doubts, THIS ONE IS THE ONE YOU NEED TO CLEAR EVERYTHING UP.

THE BEST ALLEN CARR I totally related to this one.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes.I would, and do, recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants to quit smoking cigarettes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Stop Smoking with Allen Carr?

The last cigarette. The book will prompt you to light your last cigarette near the end. I did not want to do it. Every 4 hour "I quit" fit I ever threw began with a lovely, cherished last cigarette. Your addiction is not given such a sweet farewell in this system.

Have you listened to any of Richard Mitchley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, though I wouldn't mind hearing him around again.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Stop Smoking with Allen Carr?

I only had true cravings the first night, everything felt entirely manageable after that. I have applied my insight into running again, smelling like soap, and stacking a cool $300/month into things I like more. Books, for instance:)

Any additional comments?

$300 is not a joke. Cigarettes perpetuate poverty. If you are paycheck to paycheck, or want to send your kid to Disney, or want to pay off your car early, or if you just want 300 extra items from the dollar menu a month(not recommended), there is a way.
