📖 I’ve been excited about this book since I saw it on IG a couple months ago. Coming off quite a few incredible fantasy books and having heard this compared to some of my fav series from youth (Hunger Games, Divergent, etc), I came in with some seriously high expectations… and I feel like Dani absolutely SLAYED!! The plot really took off right from the start and she expertly built the dystopian world for us as our FMC struggled through some very difficult situations. I thought she did a fantastic job showing me instead of telling me and set up just the right amount of knowledge while leaving room for surprises, twists, and turns. The tension and slow burn between our couple was delicious. The life or death secrets surrounding them kept the stakes high and the plot hopping. I absolutely can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

🎧 This was my first time listening to Amanda Dolan, and at first her voice sounded a little sharp to my ear. But once I got into this and got to know Wren’s character, I realized her narration was actually pretty spot on. Wren is bold, fearless, and powerful, so a strong, bold voice is the only thing that makes sense! Amanda also did a great job with the other characters voices, giving unique sounds to our fav side characters and of course the hunky captain.

New and exciting

I know lots of people are saying this is like other books but it’s not like books I have read and loved the exciting new world.

Fun read

I enjoyed the book. I was entertained the whole time. It had good tension and banter and I love a dystopian story

Couldn’t stop listening

Loved it! It was like a movie in my head…love the narrator she did an amazing job doing both females and males voices. The plot might be predictable but i had such a great time with this book. Cross is a mix of Four and Xaden and I was here for it! Wren is so strong and fierce !

Good listen

I enjoyed the story. It’s a dystopian plot but with some twists I haven’t seen before. The voices are great. I never once got annoyed with the audio. I found it a little predictable with a few surprises I saw coming a mile away and hoped would go another direction.

Excited for what comes next

Easy read & great storyline! I hate that I have to wait for book 2. Not a ton of world building & the story was easy to visualize:

Great story and narration

Silver Elite kept me on my toes with the unexpected twists, the attraction and tension between the FMC and MMC, and the whole plot/character development. Will listen to it again to see what I pick up the second time.

JUST WOW!!

The cliffhanger was so good but left me wanting more!! Can’t wait for book two! This story got me out of a bad reading slump
