This one wasn't for me.

I found the FMC vapid and annoying. I did not buy the love or perceived "tension" between the fmc and mmc. The "plot" is riddled with holes and the mmc gave me the ick.

This book was amazing!! I read it and audiobooked it. However you consume it get this book inside of you.
The banter is impeccable, the plot twists are great if not a little predictable.
Just a really great stand alone book.

I read sooo much fantasy romance (Romantasy) and this is THE PERFECT READ! Seriously don’t let other reviews tell you otherwise it’s SO worth a try, I truly am recommending this to everyone. Such a page turner!

A mostly fun tale of toxic love

This one won’t be for everyone. After all, the MC’s do poison each other as teens. Also Tamlin hops universes to star as the rival fairy king, once again proving nice doesn’t equal good.
The author must be acutely aware of how obtuse a love triangle sounds, and rightly so, as this one quickly does a 180.
Overall this was a fun, spicy listen. Slightly derivative, but done well.

really good storyline!

This is a great fast moving standalone story! There is intensity, depth, character development and drama- all without going through a whole series, and it's was awesome! Spoiler* multiple enemies, possible lovers, who the heck is the real alliance? LOVED IT!

I loved this

I love that the whole story wrapped up in one book. The MCs truly hated each other, but were also drawn to each other. I truly didn’t know how this story was going to end.

This was my first fantasy! I love it!

This book made me fall in love with the genre. Very spicy, very sinister, romantic, a couple twists. I completely escaped reality for the first time.

A twisty time!

I loved this book! It was a great way to close out the year. Mildred is a FMC that has some sass. The plot had me questioning every single thing. I didnt know what the heck was going on until the end. The romance was executed so well. I was absolutely here violent cat and mouse. This was a perfect standalone. It had the perfect balance and felt complete. The epilogue was beautiful and was a perfect ending.

I enjoyed this book

I really liked this story. I do wish there was a male narrator in addition to the women but I loved it all the same
