The first two books with two new books added in.

The ILOH (Larry Correia) wrote another great addition to the Tom Stranger Universe. It now includes the first two books with two additional books added in. Adam Baldwin does an amazing job as always bringing Tom to life.

A-MAZE-ING

A fantastic series of stories that pokes fun at all walks of life but primarily new age lifestyles, politics and the lack of common sense that drives them. If you're easily offended, this collection of stories is not for you. However, if you have a sense of humor (as a grown responsible adult should) you will most likely find this hilarious. Full of witty one-liners and charismatic, likable characters this outrageous collection of stories will bring a smile to your face.

If you are listening to this are you even living?

One missed opportunity with the name puns: Woody's song from Toy Story "Strange things are happening to me." Maybe if there is a volume 2 it can be included.

Overall hilarious but the best is the first story. Adam Baldwin is an amazing narrator and I need to find more books to listen to read by him. I love the meta nature of the shorts and that they aren't afraid to poke fun at everything.

great scifi comedy

If you enjoy snarkey comedy and classic humor this is the book series for you.

I see alot of complaints in the reviews about political comments in this series. I think most of these comments are from people who can't take a joke. If you don't have skin so thin you can see thru it, the political jokes won't bother you.

The story line is good, but I love the comic book feel of the wacky situations. Also Adam Baldwin does an excellent job delivering the story.

I hope for to follow.

More fun than a barrel of manatees.

Wondeedul belly laughs by the dozen. I give it a 10 in customer service -- clever, imaginative, completely tongue in cheek, completely outrageous.

Larry had way too much fun writing this

This book was a fun romp, and I loved all the fun poked at our current politicians. the Jimmy character reminded me of some folks I met in California. Stereotypes are around for a reason, and the dopey living in the basement college dude is all too prevelant in our society. You can tell Larry sort of made this up as he went along, but since he seemed to have so much fun doing it, it was a nice diversion from real life for me. Adam did a great job. this was my first time listening to Adam Baldwin, and I am impressed(look out RC Bray!)

All in all, enjoyable amd some good laughs. now get back to writing more Monster books Larry!

Enjoyed the political satire

The stories were clever. I liked the first stories better because they were more about Tom Stranger and the latter stories were more about Jimmy. I don’t enjoy Jimmy as a main character. Adam Baldwin made a huge impact on the entertainment and humor. I sometimes laughed so hard it brought tears.

10 star review!

I can't seem to get enough of Larry Correia's story spinning! This is yet another great series of stories from the master of tales! Who cares what dolphins think?! I've listened to these twice now, and I laugh every time! Thank you, ILOH's interdimensional counterpart!

Great series

Honestly, I'd listened to mhi and the hard magic series first. Love both series. Even with the bits of humor in them, I never even thought the author could be this funny. This book is funny, and entertaining.

So Funny!

Thoroughly entertaining for this lady in her 60's. Great comic relief. I thought the political comments went to both sides but some reviews felt it was slanted...oh well, cant make everyone happy. I had started w the manatee story previously and that was my favorite.
