Amazing

Best book I’ve listened to in a long time. It’s definitely top 5 in my library (340+ books) so I recommend you pick it up.

A tad bit on the racist side

Overall the book was well written and had a great storyline. Lots of comedic banter which is right up my alley. However there are quite a few racial remarks including the use of the “N” word in conversation as well as a questionable name for a black goat. Also a few homophonic references, mainly the use of the “F” word. Readers beware! Note to the author, how about we find other comedic ways to converse with characters other than racial remarks.

Really enjoyable

Not many books genuinely make me laugh out loud, but the main character in this book certainly does. Enjoyable story, characters, humor. I can only hope book 2 keeps the same feel.

Much better than expected

I was suggested this book by a friend and didn't really have high hopes for it, I wasn't very impressed initially but gave it a few chapters, by the time I finished the book it is now my second favorite series out of the 300+ books in my audible collection and I can't wait for the rest of the books in the series. If you're considering this book just get it, its worth every dollar and every minute of listen time

Great story but obviously translated

Overall, this was a very fun story with a memorable character. i recommend it but be aware some of the phrases and dialog is a bit wonky due to (I presume) being a translated work.

This was totally worth the credit. If you have doubts or are looking at others reviews, then just stop right now and pick this one up.

The best Superhero book I've read

I didn't expect to love this series as much as I do. Full of great characters, interesting powers, and revelations that land emotionally while also not stretching the imagination, I'm going to recommend this to everyone I know.

Refreshingly Original and Comical

Great storyline, comical MC, interesting take on heroes. Just all-in-all a good listen.

The title says it all.

This book is well worth anyone's time to read or actually just listen. I can't wait for book three to start.
