Our time of initiation at the Jade Bastion is coming to an end. After two more weeks of grueling training, we will be sent out beyond the walls and into the Wilderlands. There, we will face monsters unlike anything we’ve seen before. It is highly unlikely that all of us survive. More likely that none of us do. But I am Leo Flint, thief of Ahnker, and I won’t allow any of my friends to die. Not while I still draw breath and can wield my Metal and Summoning magics.

After graduating from the Jade Bastion as full-fledged battle mages, my women and I venture to the capital of the empire: Malamar. There, we will meet the emperor of the world. My suspicion is that Kraelkor has infiltrated the palace and the most powerful man in the empire.

Winter has come, but Dar won’t be able to rest just yet. An emissary of The White comes through Hearthway headed toward Bellhaven to investigate rumors of their treatment toward the ancient races. While entirely true, Dar has already taken care of those responsible and follows Karn into Bellhaven to observe and further his own goals.

However simple this quest may seem, it is exceedingly difficult. Not only that, but my companions have been called to the goblin city of Geriarc to do battle with the undead, led by shadowlords. All the while, evil festers in the Jade Bastion. First things first; I must tame a dragon, then I will deal with the undead scourge and the evil that has taken root in my new home.
