About this listen

In the tradition of the late, great George Carlin, Corey Taylor, the lead singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour, sounds off in hilarious fashion about the many vagaries of modern life that piss him off. Whether it's people's rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers, and - most of all - the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor's humor and insight cover civil society's seeming decline, sparing no one along the way, least of all himself. Holding nothing back and delivered in Taylor's inimitable voice, You're Making Me Hate You is a cathartic critique of the strange world in which we find ourselves.

Great book for all fed up with stupidity and ignor

Not for the easily offended or over sensitive. Corey Taylor (of Slipknot and Stone Sour) takes you through the inner workings of his mind on the subjects that bring him the most anger. discomfort, and dumbfoundedness. You will laugh, you will listen, and most importantly, you will think and learn. Loved every minute of it.

Great book till the Socialist showed its face.

Love Corey’s music Totally Tubular Vocab. Right mix of foul language with wit. I started losing the author when he started to get political. It was not enough yet to keep me from listening to his music the bands he is a member of are great and his voice is awesome. I’m a little older than the author and agree with much of what he said. Instead of matching money with dumb crap we buy why not require that instead of sending all the money we do overseas, let’s start with taking care of our own. I work my butt off for what I get taxed the hell out of of it’s my choice what I spend what I have left.

Great book

I love listening to Corey talk about it than someone else because he puts his emotions into it and gets the listener into more! It would’ve been weird having someone else narrate it. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Love it

Thank you for writing this Mr. Taylor. Slipknot's music had always made me feel less alone in this world growing up and this book made me feel the same as an adult.

I really like the author.

I truly enjoyed seven deadly sins and it made me want to read this book. I really like Corey Taylor's writing style and his voice. The recording was good however there were multiple audio errors where edits were needed! It was Reading this book makes me want to go back and read seven deadly sins because it was written so well and with a great structure. Again, I really like Corey Taylor this book just didn't go anywhere.

Pop culture

Holly shit I Coudn't agree more. everyone thinks I'm a bitch for disliking any popular song that is played on the radio 20milion times, or in every stupid comercial thats trying to sale me something on a daily basis. it's completely ridiculous! my response to anyone that tried to contradict me and my music taste is: "you dumb fuck! you don't like that pop-shit song you just heard!. they made think you like it!"
gotta love CT. lol
