Meg Walton comes from a long line of witches. It's a secret her family has been keeping for generations. The Waltons have been living a quiet existence, running the local donut shop in town. All that changes when a murder occurs. Enter Connor Smith, Meg's former crush, who left for San Francisco 10 years before, and who has now returned to town as the new detective with the Enchanted Bay police department. If Meg's feelings were mixed enough over having Connor back in town, the detective wrongfully suspects one of Meg's good friends for murder.

Scarlet Sanderson isn't a paranormal being per se, but she's no stranger to things that go bump in the night. She's had the ability to see and speak with ghosts since she was eight years old. Whether it's a gift or a curse is still up for debate. She moved to the picturesque town of Beechwood Harbor to open a flower shop and start a new life after years of being a nomad. Publisher's summary
This collection features two magical mysteries from the Witches of Enchanted Bay series, including Hexes and Other Hairy Situations.
Hexes:
As a witch, Meg Walton has a lot of spells at her disposal. Despite all of her magical powers, there is one thing she can't do. No matter how much she wants to, she is unable to change the past. Nor can she forget the fact that her father walked out on her, decades before.
So, when her dad shows up in Enchanted Bay, one afternoon, Meg can't help but wonder what he wants.
Has he returned home to reconcile? Or is more heartbreak in store for Meg?
Other Hairy Situations:
Witches, werewolves, and murder.
What if a single spell could change everything?
When Meg Walton discovers a spell that can cure a werewolf curse, her boyfriend Connor Smith gets really excited. Connor has been trying to rid himself of his werewolf curse for years. Now, he finally has the chance to be free of the beastly side of him.
Unfortunately, the spell comes with potentially deadly side effects.
Is the risk worth the reward?

Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Good Narration
These are always enjoyable, and interesting of what witches will do. Have read or listen to many of these by the author. Do like Stephane Quinn for the narration she adds a lot to these stories. Given ARC audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Perfect Halloween time listen!
Looking for some entertainment? Look no further! Amelia Morgan has you covered with two short cozies! First we have Hexes and Other Hairy Situations. This cozy gives us a quick look into the life of Meg. She and her mother are witches, but it's a well kept secret. All of a sudden, Trevor, her dad pops into their lives and leaves Meg wondering why he has come back and why did he leave? Not a heartfelt reunion, but we get a little emotional tug and a little insight to Meg. And then there is a big twist at the end with Meg's fiance, Connor! Secrets are not always well kept and this one is big! Next we have Witches, Werewolves and Murder! Fun! Fun! Fun! With an edge of suspense, Amelia Morgan has come up with a great story! Meg has come up with a possible cure for werewolves, and her boyfriend Connor cannot wait to try it. With worry and fear, Meg and her friends prepare for the task, with their magic and the light of a full moon. Will it work? Will Connor survive? Is it worth the risk? And will Connor still want to be with Meg if he is normal? So many questions, such a fast paced fun listen. Give this a try. Stephanie Quinn's narration will make you smile, frown and find that happy spot in your heart. This is an afternoon of fun!

Not My Favorite
It was a struggle for me to finish listening to this set because of the narrator. I loved the story lines but the voice drove me crazy. If the narrator isn't an issue for you then by all means listen to this set..it's great otherwise!!

Entertaining
Amelia Moore is a new author to me. Both these books, although not particularly long, certainly were entertaining. The narration by Stephanie Quinn was enjoyable although I do feel her male voices let her down a little, but that is just my opinion.
This collection features two magical mysteries from the Witches of Enchanted Bay series, including Hexes and Other Hairy Situations.
These are fun, quick, at times funny stories that I enjoyed. The characters were likeable and quirky.

Great taste of this fun paranormal series
This was a fun mystery two book collection. These were the first books I have read in this series. It gave me a great taste of the series and I want to start from book one now. A great mix of magic, paranormal, supernatural, and mystery. It's also full of drama, humor, friendship, romance, and heart felt moments. I want to go to Enchanted Bay myself. The two books this collection features is Hexes and Other Hairy Situations. The main character, Meg Watson is such a likable character. As the reader I felt for her in every situation. In Hexes, she is dealing with a father that had left her and is now back. In Other Hair Situations, she deals with a decision to help her boyfriend Connor with his werewolf curse problem by a dangerous spell she discovers. Both stories had me hooked from start to beginning. But I would like to start the series over so I can get more back story on the characters. I recommend this to paranormal mystery fans. But really anyone who loves a good mystery with likable characters.

Another well-written story from a very good author
Hexes and Other Hairy Situations (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #10), my fifth short read/listen from author Amelia Morgan. A well-written & enjoyable, a cute, clean cozy mystery. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn.
Witches, Werewolves, and Murder (Enchanted Bay Witch Cozy Mystery Book 11), my sixth short read/listen from author Amelia Morgan. Another well-written & enjoyable, a cute, clean cozy mystery. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn as I have in all books narrated by her. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author and since I own other books by her it will be easy. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018)
