I cannot wait to start the third book in the series, I'm Four days in and soon to be three books deep, Haywoods way of writing is mesmerizing, truly. I write this as I pace back and forth as I wait for the third book to finish downloading. I am very excited to start it and leave a real review. Dave is the best. He is such a great character. Any scene with him in it is good.

Seriously Amazing!!

I can honestly say I really enjoyed the first book. The amazingly unique voice of Dan Morgan… it just all feels so visceral. I feel dirty in a way, like I’ve been out there in the apocalyptic wasteland with them these past two hours from my sofa cough. Much like The Marbury Lens by Andrew Smith. I would LOVE to see these books each done as a movie co-directed by Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan in the style of the Spartan movie 300!!

It’s a good book, I enjoyed the first book, this one is okay as well, however I didn’t like the idea of how the infection is getting smarter and aware. Might give the third book a try but not any time soon.

Better than book 1 in lots of ways.

I enjoyed the fact that the action was ramped up in book 2. And that the story line is still holding my attention throughout the chapters.

Every book leaves me wanting more!

I love Dave he's my favorite. Howie is very funny and I love their chemistry. Cookie and Blowers remind me of siblings always going at each other. the transition from situation to situation is smooth and it really just pulls you and makes you want more.

Fantastic

Brilliant performance by the narrator. The author throws in a plot twist with "semi-infected" undead. I eagerly anticipate the release of the next audible versions of Haywood's work.

Let me start by saying I am harsh on books. Especially horror books. The way the characters in the book evolve keeps you very interested. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is very well written. The narration is spot on. Do yourself a favor and get this book.
