Adrian Ring's simple life is thrown into chaos when the world is ripped apart by a plague of undead and legions of desperate survivors. Retreating to Auburn Lake Prep Academy, Adrian attempts to rescue friends and family on the way while dancing around his impending insanity over who and what he left behind, and evading maniac survivors. He saves his cat Otis, but shoots his mom. Pretty , all things considered. Of course, his sanity takes a hit as a result.
Real, flawed, and raw, Dark Recollections is Adrian's own story of how he survived after "That Day". Told through his eyes as he talks to his laptop, affectionately named "Mr. Journal", and through short stories that entwine with his tales that bring forth dark visions of a world being eaten alive by an unimaginable evil.
AUD is an eight part epic about a solitary, guilt stricken man that didn't think he deserved to live, but realizes very soon that he survived, and suffered for a reason.
This collection contains Dark Recollections, Alone No More, Midnight, and The Failed Coward, four full-length novels following the end of the world as witnessed by Adrian Ring.

Loved it. Period!
Keep it coming. My only complaint….I need more books in the group sale. The next 12 books are single buy at one credit per book. At least group them in 3’s or 4’s.
I’m all in regardless, but it would be nice if we got a box set deal. I’m loving the series right now though. Great story with my kind of humor. KEEP IT COMING!!!

Best fun I’ve had listening to a book in a while
I cannot begin to express how much I freaking loved this omnibus of 4 books of AUD. I just finished today and was almost panicked enough to stop what I was doing to get book 5. I was stunned that nigh on 40 hours went so fast. Narration was FUN. Sarcasm and innuendo and creepiness. He had the author down pat in his narration. If you found it hard to go on after finishing Repairman Jack then this series is right up your alley. I am a 60 year old woman and this was Fantastic !

TOTALLY DIFFERENT!
Wasn't sure when I first started this series, but, you have to keep reading! If you've read the series SLOW BURN or ZOMBIE FALLOUT, you'll love this. It is really that good! James Andersen Foster the narrator does a super job bringing the character to life.

Great story
This is hands-down, the best apocalypse/zombie stylebook that I’ve ever listened too. It was easy to visualize what characters were experiencing by the way to the book is narrated in written.

Phenomenal
I can not stop listening. Best series I've followed in a long time. Familiar enough to be memorable. Different enough to be unique. The first 4 books are nonstop, captivating storytelling.
