really good zombie book! What I liked most about the story and the auther was that i didn't find myself saying "why the fu%@ would you do that!"

Great story line!

The story line was fantastic and the narrator was perfect for this book....always kept me guessing and surprising me with every chapter!

Phenomenal

I haven’t finished yet. I’m on the last book. I have about 5 hours left and I want to listen so badly but I know it will eventually end and I simply wish it wouldn’t. I absolutely love the characters, including those who didn’t make it. And not to mention the narrator. I first heard him from a book called “Mean Spirited.” Also a fantastic read by the way. But the way Spencer Dillehay grabs your immediate attention is nothing like I’ve heard from other readers. I can’t wait to finish this series.

Great zombie novel with an unusual twist

I've been reading (and listening to) post-apocalyptic fiction for a while, and I thought this would be just another one, with zombie and people fighting them. It was, but with an interesting twist to cause and conclusion. The characters were a little light on substance, but I expect that from this genre. As expected, some of my favorite characters died and some of the "bad" ones didn't. It was fast paced and long, but easy to get through. The narrator was good, although with the setting being in Norway I would have expected some sort of accent. I recommend it as a little bit different than the ordinary zombie book.

this book was just bruta, ...... good, but brutal.

I like the pacing of this book you don't really get books even the zombie books with this kind of pacing. the story was a little drawn out but the payoffs were great. my only real complaint about this book is how weak some of the characters were. but I do recommend it if you like gut-riching drama.

Good Story and Character Developement

I really loved this series, maybe more than the Dead Meat series. It is a great story with a lot going on. I do feel like it wrapped up very neatly, but maybe too neatly and too quickly. Otherwise I loved it.
