Story
We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

Its an Art
I really enjoyed learning about the history and different types of Bonsai trees. There is so much more to them than i ever knew. I love it that it is more of an art and spiritual connection. This book gives great advice on how to choose your first tree, what tools you will need, soil, trimming, watering and everything else you need to know. I am super excited to try this. I haven’t been much of a green thumb but I want to be and I think a Bonsai tree would be so neat. Great book.

From beginner to veteran Bonsai fanatics
B. Mane has done the incredible and provided niche “green thumbs” the opportunity to delve into a title that not only lays out the foundations of everything a beginner could want to know about Bonsai care, artistry, and more, but also provides a wealth of knowledge that even the most veteran Bonsai fanatics will learn something from, or, at the very least, will feel an added air of refreshment and newly found inspiration for their Bonsai projects. My favorite thing about this title was the attention to so many details that I would have personally overlooked, such as knowing when to repot, horticulture hacks that I had not encountered else where, and a ton more green goodies.

Great for beginners!
Bonsai is such a beautiful plan that I thought it was hard to care for. However, this book made it so easy! It breaks down the entire process of growing and maintaining it into simple steps. It will be a great guide once you actually have the plant in front of you to follow the steps as you are listening! It'll give you every knowledge you'll need to start growing your own bonsai.
