Welcome to the Hooniverse
Right from the opening scene, the belly laughs begin. Again, as with other Hoon Thrillers, you'll need to suspend your disbelief for this one. I think Bob staffed this crew from the Island of Misfit Toys. And somehow they manage the impossible. The plot gets a little tedious in Las Vegas, but strap in and go along for the ride. Lots of 'Merica stereotypes to enjoy.
Angus King is the star here, managing a variety of characters and accents. Well done!

Hoon is a Hoot!
Always happy to see a new book in any of the three series based in Scotland. The Florida part of the story was funny. I was born in Florida and have lived here all my life except for college. I love Angus King, but no Floridian talks like the accents used here. Of course only 25% of the people here are actually Floridians. Most people are from other states, countries and planets. I wish all newcomers met the alligators, snakes, and hand sized cockroaches before moving here. The author never disappoints. A mad dash to find Miles. Hoon at his best/worst. I prefer the story to take part in Scotland or at least the UK. Reading fiction is a great way to leave the reality of my life behind. Right now I need to read about other places because the elections are making me crazy. I would have stayed in Scotland if I could have. I love Inverness and Skye best.

I wish I were an Elvis fan
The annoying Elvis element colored my enjoyment of an otherwise engaging story starring many of my favorite characters. Sorry. I was particularly looking forward to the re-appearance of Miles. Angus King was the king here, as usual.
