Very Good Read

This is a good read for emerging leaders who are women. I have been in leadership for a while and have read all of the recommendations written by men for all. However, this book provides a sensitive approach incorporating how women think and experience the corporate world based on beliefs.

Good intro to leadership from the female perspective

STLAB was a good intro into the core competencies for leadership. It is a succinct book, so don’t expect too many stories or anecdotes, but it’s factual and well-researched which is honestly more important.

Listen up all my lady bosses out there!

This book hit home for me and the experiences I've had in my life. It was like she was speaking directly to me especially when talking about self-doubt and imposter syndrome. I've tackled that obstacle more than I'd like to admit in many different areas of my life.

This audiobook felt like a self-confidence conference in a tiny little package to give myself a real kick-in-the-pants moment to stop doubting myself and my ability to lead. I'm here to win. I'm worthy to lead highly effective teams, motivate others, and get the job done in my own unique way.

Lady bosses, do you need an impactful self-workshop on how to start thinking like the boss you were born to be? If your answer to that question was a resounding 'Heck Yeah!' then what are you waiting for? Get your copy today, boss it up today, and step into who you were meant to be.

Confidence!

Loved the chapter on confidence. I know if I don't build myself up constantly, the doubt and fear tries to creep in. So important for women and men to build their confidence over time and never stop. I liked the 3 ideas you shared especially the journalling idea.

Think Like A Boss!

In this audiobook, you will learn that statistics show that women have a little more leadership than men. I found it interesting even though I am an entrepreneur with leadership.

I bought this book for a friend, and knowing my friend, I'm sure she will love this book as I liked it. All of the chapters have interesting content, and I loved Chapter 8, The Art of Negotiation.

I recommend it for all women. You will discover essential strategies to overcome the fears that hold you back and why a great team is the basis of success. Well done to the author.

I believe the book has value BUT…

So much of the book is quoting other people and referencing other books. That tells me there isn’t much enterprising here.

Also, this book needs the audio redone - big time! A lot of mispronounced words and sloppy editing. More than once I’ve caught a sentence repeat just after it was read the first time. Some of the edits are REALLY abrupt, and I’ve also noticed “pops” on some sounds.
