About this listen

Rock music is my life.

I don’t play any instrument. I can kinda sing, but I’m not one for being the center of attention. I love being in the crowd. Music connects everyone—the nerds, the jocks, the disillusioned, and the broken. To show my love to the rock gods on stage, I rave about them on my somewhat popular blog, Rockin' with Tabby.

During the concert of the year, Summer Fest, I have a chance encounter with my music crush, Spencer Tate, head singer of my second favorite band, Suspected Tragedy. He radiates sexy with his silver eyes, growly voice, and giant tattooed arms. And when a drunken kiss turns into more, he offers me a vacation of a lifetime. I might be slightly broken, but as I learn more about the true Spencer, I discover so is he. Maybe together we can fix each other. Until I receive a crushing call that tears me back to real life and the friends I left behind.

This is a stand-alone book with new characters in the Starstruck Universe.

Captivating!

Rock My Stars is a different take on concerts and rockers, with outdoor concerts being the focus of the action. Tabby runs a blog called Rockin' With Tabby and documents everything rockstars. Summer Fest is the next big concert and she snags her tickets the moment they go on sale. She's anxious to see Suspected Tragedy and her crush, Spencer Tate. It's her birthday, and she's going to make it really special. Because of her blog, she draws a lot of attention, and Spencer just happens to notice her. He seeks her out, realizes it's her birthday, and he helps her celebrate. Their attraction is immediate and strong, and they are setting the stage (pun intended) for a beautiful relationship. It's sweet, tender and extremely hot as they come to understand that there's something special between them. Of course there are the requisite exes, rumors and problems with friends, but they are loyal and will make it through anything, as long as it's together. There is little angst, just how I like it, but there is a tragedy involving her best friends. It's perfect, right up to the very end. It's a HFN and leaves a number of issues unsettled. Tabby and Spencer's story has just begun. The epilogue also sets the reader up for the next story in the series.
Ivy Randall is excellent as the narrator. Her clear and dynamic voice brings all the characters to life with a unique personality and attitude!

I really enjoyed this story. Narrator was good. I hope we get some stories on the other band members and Tabby’s friend Walt.

Wonderful story!

Ellie Potts is a new to me author and this was a very fun, great for summer listen! Tabby is a rock blogger, going to her first festival of the season. Excited to see her rockstar crush, Spencer Tate, she gets the chance to hang out with him after the concert. They hit it off, and after a drunken kiss, both of their worlds are rocked! Taken with each other, they spend their time getting to know each other. But nothing is ever easy. Both Spencer and Tabby have baggage, and while they heal each other, the other parties may not be so easy to please. Potts takes us on a fun, sweet love story, with fantastic friendships, a public that loves their star and a couple that is perfectly suited. I loved the way she melds Danny and Walt into the mix, shows true friendship stands no matter the circumstances and love always shines brightest. Loved this story!

Ivy Randall brings all these amazing characters to life. From Spencer with his romantic gestures, to Tabby's blog posts, building romance and incredible friendship, she pulls out all the emotions. Walt and Danny come through as friends and Randall even pulls out the evil voice to create a realistic and wonderful story.

Liked this story! A lot.

I like rock star stories… and this one is very good. The story is derailed, interesting, and full of surprises! Ellie Potts write a great story. These characters.. Tabby, Spencer and Walt were believable and interesting. They are people you can truly imagine… unfortunately, Danny is believable too…. There are too managers like him in the world today.

This is good, I recommend it for reading or listening. Ivy Randall is new to me, and although I felt like the narration was rushed, her voice is easy to listen to and she does well with the characters.

Tabby is feisty, sassy, quirky and very likeable. She's a popular blogger that writes about, up and coming rock bands. She going to Summerfest, the first rock festival of the year. Shes hopes to see her favorite rock star, Spencer Tate. He notices her in the crowd and that one birthday kiss leads to a summer of music, and fun,
Ivy Randall captured the fun, and emotional side of the characters she made it a very enjoyable story to listen to.

Awesome love story

This was such a cute love story between a small town girl and a famous rock star. Tabby and Spencer went through some tough ringers that would have either broke them or made them closer. You will have to read to figure out which lol. I love the friendships Tabby had with Walt and Danny until the end when my jaw hit the floor about Danny. I was stunned beyond words. This story does prove that opposite sex can be best friends and that famous people can have real love with small town people. Ellie wrote such an awesome story that I hope this turns into a series to hear more about all these characters. Ivy narrated with so much emotion that it was easy to see who was talking and felt the different emotions portrayed in this story.
