About this listen
Cam Stassen, a coming-of-age young man. He always thought that he would join the family guild. It wasn’t meant to be.
On the summer solstice, the day where all those that turned eighteen throughout the year received their Class. Young Cam was given a unique Class. A crafting Class.
Everything changed.
He would no longer be the fighter that he grew up training for. He would no longer be able to join the family guild and rise high in the ranks.
No, not anymore.
But not all was lost. His father had found him a path forward. A path that would find him leading men and women in building an outpost. With tools by his side and his Class to lead him, he would create a town from nothing, and control access to his dungeon that would grow alongside him.
Naomi Silverclaw, a young pantherkin that became a scout on the summer solstice, finds herself in Cam’s beginning group. Brought together by fate, her and Cam form a relationship that drives them both forward.
Fighting in the dungeon, Naomi finds a natural treasure unlike anything the world has seen in thousands of years. With the threat of those stronger taking it from her, she binds it to Cam and herself.
If only they knew what chaos would follow that small action.
Follow Cam and Naomi as they strive to protect their people and build the town. Their choices determine the path for more than just themselves. When mystical beasts, kingdoms, and the strong vie for the treasure, there’s only one path forward. Grow stronger together and claim their place in the world.

This Story is a microcosm discount version of Path to Ascension
Most of the plot changes around half way through to the point that most of the first half of the book holds little to no relevance.
