About this listen

As a C-Tier Lifeblade, Ethan keeps his head down, works hard, and always hits his mark. His skills might not be flashy, but they get the job done—and in SlayerCorp's cutthroat portal acquisitions industry, reliability makes you valuable. He’s built a solid rep as the go-to healer who can hold his own in any situation, with a resume that's earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. But Ethan's biggest challenge isn’t in the dungeons he clears or the creatures he fights.

It’s Lily Chen.

His cute neighbor and coworker is an A-Tier Berserker. Powerful, beautiful, untouchable—and living right next door. For months, Ethan’s been drowning in daydreams, but he knows better than to reach. The Tier gap between them, favoring her, makes the prospect of dating her seem next to impossible. So Ethan keeps his distance, telling himself she’s a dream that’ll never be his. What he doesn’t know?

Lily’s worshiped him for years.

She doesn’t care about Tier gaps. She doesn't care about what others think. All she wants in this world is Ethan.

But when a routine dungeon run goes sideways, Ethan and Lily find themselves permanently connected... for better or worse.

If Ethan can’t figure out how to navigate this twisted new reality and make do with the cards he's been dealt, the monsters waiting on the other side of the portal will be the least of his worries.

The real fight? Surviving the girl next door.

Pretty Gosh Darn Good

I liked this a lot. it's shorter than what I normally picked up, but I love a good Yandere story. This tale has all the hallmarks of a great yandere tale, and an ending that left me eager for the sequel. The VAs did an amazing job!

very fun read. well worth the credit.

so I was wondering how you pull off a Yandere haram.

so the story is interesting and how the author is pulling off a haram of yandere's. spoiler this first book doesn't really feel like a haram. if I say anymore it'll ruin the book. world building is stand too solo leveling with cyberpunk 2077 bent. it has 2 steamy scenes around middle of the book.

so a few bad things.
1: everyone talks like high schoolers back in 2000's. the phrase " no homo " was used several times.
2. there are some plot drive scenes that don't make sense. spoiler warning why did they need to spend one night sleeping on cots. they had there rooms packed up before they could get back to there rooms so why did it take a full day to bring there stuff to there new rooms. reason why is because the author needed the bathroom scene.
3. this is good and bad but the this story is very anime. which isn't bad except for the MC guy has the anime isakai personality. which is im a nice guy with no personality.

a big pro is during the spicy scans the female VA was moaning and breathing heavily in the background while they read out the lines.

Yandere Harem

I was curious how they were gonna pull it off but honestly I love it. Can't wait for the sequel.

An interesting take on Yandere.

The story is pretty good. The MC was a bit more passive in the second half than I'd like. Also, the best girl's New England "Harley Quinn" accent was a poor choice in my opinion. Especially since she is half-Chinese and half-Russian. That's the only criticism that I can make currently.

A true Yandere Queen

Ok so be prepared for a real Yandere girl. She doesn't let anyone else touch her man. She is insane and cute as can be. Love the narrators, they really bring the crazy story together. I do enjoy the story and the spice is spicy. Book one is amazingly good and I can't wait to see how the story progresses after that ending. Mc is a little to dumb sometimes but the true Mc Yandere is what I came for.

Well Written and Fun

The Performance Crew did a great job as always,
Yuki Knightley, Gwen Grayson wrote a fun and entertaining book,
They really put in the work on this one, We spent enough time with our main characters to get to know them, so when events unfold we knew how and why.
i look forward to more.
